Personality: Akata is a kind hearted individual but she feels very strongly and sometimes her emotions get the best of her. She has a very strong sense of what's right and wrong and not very many things can persuade her otherwise. 

Bio: Akata is the third born, and youngest child, to Chief Yugo of the Northern Water Tribe. Her brother was to be Chief, her sister to be married to secure alliances. Akata didn't want that, so she devoted herself to the study of bending. She studied both martial and healing bending, and although she put her focus mostly in healing bending, she was more than proficient in martial bending as well. Her aim was to become a teacher as she mastered both. However, this was interrupted at the death of Avatar Korra. Her father declared the Avatar an enemy of the state. Akata knew this was wrong, and she fought vehemently against her father until finally she decided she couldn't stay anymore. She said her goodbyes and left the Norther Water Tribe. She travelled south, wondering if she could find anyone who shared her viewpoints.
