Meanwhile, I'm slowly developing my explorer into the protagonist of her own noir detective film. Also, [@Shorticus], I think our two nations should meet up. The Coalition is at a turning point - it's grown too large to just assume "reasonable" and be done with it, and isn't sure whether it should shrink, dissolve, or change its internal structure. I feel like the Namilee would shake things up sufficiently.
I'd be open to that! Though the question, I suppose, is how they shake things up exactly. They might notice something wrong about the system which is so complex it needs committees on committee oversight, I suppose... That sort of complexity (though not as extreme) hampered their ability to react to the X'cor. I suppose that might be enough to make them either accidentally or purposefully facilitate some change while traveling through that part of the sector.
Obviously, the X'Cor are the 1st solution.
In a way? They're both. The WISE thing to do is to avoid them, and that IS Namilee standard procedure. However, the Namilee feel as if they have some duty to help the X'cor realize what it is they're doing, how ultimately self-destructive it is, etc. If they could, they'd enter negotiations with the X'cor and try to share ideas. But I think we all know how that'd turn out.
