Now the US primary season is slowing down and we pretty much know what the main event is going to look like, perhaps some people might be feeling a sharp lack of faith in the entire thing. What would it be like if we eschewed the entire system and replaced it with silly pop-culture combat? Would the results be more to our liking? Probably, but let's find out for certain. There will be 24 contestants in this modernized method of electioneering. The first two will be the current presumed party frontrunners in the 2016 US Presidential Election. This means we need to pick 22 contestants to join them, so imma ask the audience to nominate some candidates. Start out offering just two candidates. If that doesn't do it, i'll add a couple more and let everyone pick two more as well, and we'll keep doing that until we have a full roster. For choosing candidates, stay roughly to some sort of politic theme. It doesn't matter if you pick Ted Cruz, George Washington, or Mayor McCheese, so long as there is something vaguely political-themed about your choice. They don't have to be Americans either, or constitutionally viable for that matter, so if you want to run the Queen then go for it. And, you know, don't get into arguments or anything because that would be dumb to do in a thread about hunger games. If you see somebody say something you disagree with then harshly judge them in silence.
