Nine

Nine's talk with Grick was a short one, finding she had little to say to the larger alien before wanting to get back to her hidy hole the was the cockpit. Mostly becasue she knew soon the ship would reenter normal space on the outer edge of the Nova nebula and would require her to fly the ship. As Nine headed back to the cockpit she made a side trip to her quarters and got herself changed into an old looking jumpsuit. This one have and emblem of three circles inside each other on the back and side of each shoulder. Nine not wanting to be in her picker ship jumpsuit if they where contacted by someone. Making her way back into the cockpit she watched the ship reenter normal space, the ship lurching once as it did. Taking her set Nine tapped at the radar readout to see it was still blank, causing her to hiss in frustration. She needed the radar to spot pirates and avoid them. Nine was about to call Aksel to have a tell her off about the radar, when the ship shook and the alarms started to blare. Pulling up a ship status she could see a missile had penetrated the hull and caused damage to several systems, but the ship was holding up for now and could still fly. Seeing no other choice Nine but the ship into full sub-light hoping to make the ship harder to get a lock on to. ""I told her I needed that radar. This is why I told that stupid Strish'ak." Nine muttered as she piloted the ship her rage building up wishing the picker ship had some sort of armament so she could shoot back. It was then Aksel ordered Nine evacuate everyone of the ship. "Ancestors, this is not going to pretty." As she hit several controls, which caused the alarms to shift into a deeper tone and the ships escaped pod hatches to open. "All hands abandon ship. Pods auto launch in 10 minutes so you've got that long to evacuate. Nine stated in her mono tone as she continued to work the consol in front of her, while trying to keep the ship form being hit by another missile or anything else. The panels on the rest of the ship showing the location of the escape pods along with a timer until the ship blew up. Meanwhile Nine stuck the ship on autopilot setting it fly in the most erratic pattern posable without making it imposable to move around the ship. That being said it be harder with the ship throwing it self around, with that Nine quickly programed the pods to head to Nomad once launched. Having completed everything Nine quickly climbed out of her seat, looking towards the escape pod entrance a mere meter away. Nine knew form here she could get in the pod and evacuate before anyone could stop her, but Nine would never be able to live with herself. "Dam my honorable side." she muttered to herself getting out of her seat. Making her way over to the escape pod she stood at the hatch, so anyone near by could more easily find the pod gripping the hatch as tightly as she could to keep her balance. While she waited Nine felt the ship rock again something impacted the hull hard. "Crap that ship is all over us. Dam Aksel if I see her I'm going to put a round in."
