Also, [@Jotunn Draugr]: I notice your profile says your character has never lost a battle. We're neighbors, and that's exactly what my whole shtick for Fernando is (the loyal, masterful general who has never lost a battle).

Thus, either your character and the Doge of Vespania never warred in the past, neither of our characters actually fought the other directly, or one of us lost a battle. (Or both of us lost battles against each other. That one's my vote.)

EDIT: Also, I think I'm going to make one of the honorifics people use to refer to Fernando (though he doesn't encourage it) "The Lion of Vespania."
