Due to him travelling along with his parent since he was 5 years old, he started to show an interest for adventures and left the house with his parents' blessing at the age of 16.
He encountered a small nomadic tribe while travelling and befriended them. There, he learnt archery and all the survival skills needed to survive in the wilderness. Upon going their separate ways, he was given a carving knife with an exquisite self-carved sheath as their parting gift.
