Her pertinacity declined logic, yet it never deflected Cu’s cry, "Captain, we must go now." With that Aksel faltered back, while blood trickled from both the knuckles bursting swollen and the busted nose. It was beyond difficult for the Captain to part ways with what lied behind the door. It was in secret to Aksel what occurred between her and the lieutenant, it was now that those feelings she would describe “unprofessional” began crashing as solemnly violent on her as the missiles against the ship did. Yet she could not risk the harm of Cu if he were to be patience, an act Aksel suspected him of. But she was not going to allow herself to him die when the lieutenant himself evolved into a lost cause. Next thing’s next Aksel trudges through, dragging elbow against ground until her bloodshot eyes are met with Cu’s. She was scarred and screwed hard with pervious mentioned injuries to the facial and hand regions but also with burns from the side of the face and various parts of the left leg. She wheezed with coughing as inhaling the fumes of smoke was now taking its toiling. She lifted a begging hand towards Cu, consciousness was on the verge of absence. Aksel adapted a vision of blur- she may still be mental there but the Captain was losing it. Sirens sounding, lights flashing, cannons blasting, and in the midst of it all she thought and blinked back to familiar words, Cu, I trust you. With such ease, the convicted killer could pull off Aksel’s own gun, pound that trigger, and watch a couple rounds soar through her skull as not one would hear the bullet shots sound for the ruckus itself in the background would take care of all noise. Or Cu could even leave her there to die. Then he could say the Captain was crushed by the rubble or blazed by fire. She however was buried in the deep agony that extinguish the fear of betrayal or abandonment. But none of it stopped her from trying to grab him, trying to once again feel that soft embrace that was his fur against blood drenched fingers. “H-help… me…,” was all she had left to croaked with a throat tainted by the exhaust of fire. Helpless in it all, walking itself was ideal, perhaps properly impossible in her condition.
