Age: 20 and a half. [sub]
He just claims 21 at this point.
[/sub] Race: Ljósálfar. [sub]
Norse; light elf.
[/sub] Powers:

Being he is not full elf, he only possesses abilities that are above average for a human; his strength, hearing, and sight are far better than any human’s, but not nearly as good as his fellow full-blooded light elves’.
Again, being not full elf, he is not as quick or light as they are on his feet; however, he makes up for that in grace and ways he can twist his body, as well as with his archery and close hand-to-hand combat. He has quick hands, being able to craft things quite well (primarily woodworking), though not as good as most other elves.
Like all light elves, whether full-blooded or no, he is heavily in touch with nature. He has two weapons which are made from the very Earth he had walked his first steps upon. His bow, quiver, arrows and dagger were made by his own hand once he was old enough, and they hold the essence of mother nature herself. Light elves do not call what they can do, and what their weapons can do, magic. But, to explain in understanding terms, they call it magic for minds that cannot wrap around the concept of how mother nature and light elves are deeply connected. All light elves’ souls are entwined with mother Earth and no matter how far they stray, she always assists them. The only magic he can do without his bow and dagger is making said bow and a quiver of arrows or dagger appear out of thin air. It takes but a few seconds to make it come into existence, wherever he chooses it to, within sight. The air does a shimmering effect, the air seeming like it’s moving and swirling in place, before the bow and quiver of arrows or dagger is suddenly there the next instant, a slight glow to it all before it dies down. All of this happens in just a few seconds. However, he usually keeps his dagger in existence, strapped to his calf with a sheath. He still can make it appear elsewhere, though he really has no reason to when it’s usually somewhere on his body. He can make them both disappear in the same shimmering fashion; even he has no idea where they go, but he believes that mother Earth keeps them in safekeeping until he calls for them again.

The magic attached to the weapons does not sound like magic because, again, it is just what light elves say so outsiders can understand. His dagger always stays sharp, it never dulls. He always has arrows in his quiver, the tips forever razor-sharp; the string on his bow always tight, his bow never suffering from years of use. It may seem that when he shoots, there is magic in how the accurate and precise his shot is, but he has a keen eye and is very skilled at using his bow, as well as throwing his dagger or using it in close combat. But perhaps mother nature would assist him if he ever did need it.
From the last sentence, angering Fletcher in his element isn’t recommended. While it hasn’t exactly been spoken aloud, it is a known fact among light elves that their connection with mother nature makes them more powerful when in her presence. Fletcher draws a lot of his energy and power from forest and woodland settings and so, when present in them, he is slightly more powerful, and has mother nature’s elements on his side. Nothing over the top, but he is harder to fight when in his element.
He does have a power he got from his mother’s elven side that isn’t very common for part elves to have; the ability to sing and transfix a mind. Now, it isn’t that powerful, and so he can only transfix weaker minds, which he has discovered has only been humans thus far. He also can play music beautifully, being taught from a young age in various instruments, though that is only a bonus to the singing, since his playing cannot transfix a weaker mind. It’s useful for distracting someone, since his singing isn’t strong enough to actually control a weaker mind, just mesmerize them.
Appearance: According to myth, light elves are a beautiful people, supposedly with a beauty that could rival the sun's own. When looking upon Fletcher, some might agree, others may not. Fletcher does not hold the unearthly beauty that light elves do, because he is not quite full-blooded. His mother was part light elf, part human, while his father was full-blooded light elf, so you do the math. Fletcher fancied after his mother but just because he doesn't have an unearthly beauty, doesn't mean he doesn't have a strange beauty to call his own. Fletcher has a thick head of hair, always cut above his ears with a good amount pushed to the side constantly by his fingers, making it always look messy and giving it a windblown appearance. His hair looks as if it was dusted with red dirt, a color favoring that of paprika spice; that when in a brighter light setting, appears more of an orange, turning into the dry dirt of a desert, while in dimmer lighting, it appears darker, more like red dirt after a fresh rainfall. The bit of beard he has, more so stubble on his cheeks, with it becoming thicker on his jawline, stays much darker than his hair, naturally not as soft or smooth to the touch as his head of hair is. His eyes cannot decide what color they wish to be. In different settings, they can either appear to be a darkened blue, or a forest green. Sometimes, they decide to come together to create a mixture of the blue and green. The blue akin to the color of the sea when diving deeper into its blue depths, while the green can appear like the leaves on a tree the sun never touches. His flaws may be what brings him to having an unconventional beauty. Many would say his eyes are spaced a bit too far apart, his forehead is too wide, and that his fair complexion is too fair, much too pale, though it makes his eyes and hair stand out all the more. Though, these are features that distinguish Fletch from others, and do not diminish the confidence he holds for himself. Depending on who you ask, his flaws may not even be noticeable once you see his slight Elven features. The shell of his ear do not round like a human’s, but rather, his ears have a slight point. At first glance, it isn’t so noticeable, but once looking again, it is. They aren’t as pointy as a full-blooded elves’, but they don’t look quite human either. Another thing that makes Fletcher stand out from humans is the way he moves; he moves with a graceful fluidity that not even the most trained ballerina could achieve. He’s light and quick on his feet, can twist his body in ways others cannot, and just moves in an elegant way. All of this comes together on a lean body that stands at 5'11. It wouldn't hurt for him to gain more muscle, however his arms are lightly defined, since he has been exposed to a bow and arrow practically since he could stand. His clothing style is something he does not care much about; usually, he wears something comfortable, be it baggy jeans, loose t-shirts, long-sleeved button ups, cozy sweaters, or hoodies. He doesn’t really like his feet covered, growing up in an Elven village did that to a person, but he still makes himself wear tennis shoes… but don’t be surprised if he kicks them off in a bit of annoyance from his feet feeling too warm. He wears things typical of a young college student, even though he is not that. His face makes him appear older than he is, with his square chin and the facial hair that sits on his jawline and sometimes his cheeks. Overall, he could be considered a fairly attractive young man, with a smile that shows his white teeth, the few sharply pointed ones he naturally has, and eyes that bring the sea and forest together. If only he smiled genuinely more often. Personality: Fletcher is a strange character indeed. He isn't that social, yet he knows how to talk a person up, or down if need be. He has a way with words, an intelligence he doesn't very often show, choosing to let people believe he isn't that smart or can't do that much. He likes to come off as someone weak or stupid because then, he could prove them wrong with a shit-eating grin on his face later. He has an intelligence that is above average not only for a human, but for a light elf, who are considered quite the smart race of elves. His memory is photographic, something that is a blessing and a curse, but he does take advantage of it. However, because so much is going on in his head at once, it may take him a few seconds to respond to a question, or to give his opinion, or to recall a memory or fact, because it's like he is thumbing through files in his brain, looking for the right thing. He often mumbles, mutters, or hums/sings under his breath, staring off when he does so, just getting some of the things in his head out into the air, as if that would help his mind that rarely settles. He may appear to have ADHD, because there is so much going on his head, sometimes it's hard to tack one thing down and talk strictly about it. He manages, but he talks really fast, almost too fast to understand, always confusing people because they miss certain words. He speaks in this manner often, and when he does it while explaining something, it's almost like a robot or a how-to manual spewing off at the mouth. Because of how his mind works, he doesn't always come off as the kindest person. Actually, he's a bit of a dick. He naturally notices things others do not, they sear into his brain, and most of the time, he just lets them out. He claims the truth hurts, though being blunt about it probably isn't the way to go. Just because he comes off with a harsh front, though, doesn't mean he isn't ever not nice. He can be as nice as the pope, depending on who it is and what they've said to him. He dishes back what's given to him. While he sounds like he would be quick to anger, or annoyance, or defense of his own person, he is not. He is actually very laid back when it comes to harsher emotions, besides being blunt, and ever rarely gets angry or offended. That doesn't mean he won't curse you back if you curse him. Like stated earlier, he dishes back what's given to him. But he isn't openly bothered by it, it shows on his face that he could care less, but he's still going to give you seething words back. He can do it with a rare genuine smile on his face while not batting an eye. He is capable of keeping a cool and level head, of being a leader, and defusing tensions... though, he doesn't very often use any of these social skills. He's more of the type to let what happens, happens, unless it's directly affecting him in a negative way. Where Fletcher's personality changes, is with people he cares about. It's not a startling change, just a subtle thing, but it's there. Being born into a clan of light elves and living with them for some time, Fletch was taught compassion, empathy, and care. However, breaking away from the clan made him form the personality he has now, but he couldn't, of course, forget those ideals that were drilled into his head since a young age. He is loyal and protective of those who get on his good side and prove they will be the same. He has a no bullshit attitude, he expects one back. He doesn't lie, so he doesn't expect lies. He only lets those who are similar to him, who would be just as loyal or protective, to get close to him. He doesn't believe he has time to "fuck around" with a fake. If he calls someone friend, you're in it for the long haul with him. He has an uncanny patience with people, and it shows with people he considers close to him (which is only one person). Since he isn't quick to any negative emotion, he can put up with a lot; he actually has a bluntly caring personality towards the one he cares for. Words like "you need fucking help, you nutcase" could be considered offensive, but coming from Fletch, it just means he cares. It's the way he shows he cares without actually speaking the words aloud. He isn't one for Hallmark moments, he thinks cutting to the point, and getting feelings out there is the best way to get shit done. But, then, he's a bit of a hypocrite on that front. If those feelings involve matters of the heart, he doesn't very often open up about those. He has felt hurt before and doesn't want to feel it again. So, he attempts to guard his heart, and his brash caring quips makes it sound like he's more annoyed with the person, rather than actually concerned, when he is. However, his care shows in the way he is overly protective, even possession, of the one he cares for. He can say all the mean, biting things he wants to people he cares about, but if a stranger said the same things? It's on. That is when Fletcher may lose that cool persona just a bit, it slipping to reveal just how angry and scary he can be. Though, when he gives a harsh jab back, and makes sure the person understands to not do it again, he's fine. He cools off extremely fast after a fight. Any harsh words can be made at him, and he would be amused as he hissed words back. But, any harsh words towards the person he cares about, and he's defensive, ready for a fight if it came down to it, because no one fucks with anyone he grows to care about. But, he also is a realist, he is far from an idiot, and if that stranger is making a good point in a harsh way? Okay. But, Fletcher will make sure that stranger knows to not do it again, before telling the person he cares about they had a point, basically repeating the insult, because he's bluntly honest and that's his way of helping. Another way to see Fletcher cares for someone, or is warming up to them, is seeing how he talks to them. For the one he cares about, he has a playful, almost carefree attitude around him, often delivering teasing jabs and gentle retorts with no real heat behind them. It’s somewhat obvious when Fletch has taken a liking to someone, it shows in the way he talks to them. He talks with his hands quite often, quick, fluid movements as words fly from his mouth, and he can grow slightly excited talking to someone he enjoys the company of. If he begins to gently tease someone, or poke at them and just be a cute (if you ask the right person), annoying nuisance, then he’s taken a liking to them, and they’re on the fast track to his good side. He isn’t a very touchy-touchy person, instead preferring to keep his hands to himself, and having others do the same. But, if he allows someone to touch him without telling them to “back the fuck off,” then it’s pretty obvious he likes them. Especially when he subconsciously touches that person, not even noticing, then yeah. He’s pretty piss poor at hiding his liking towards others, though if that like is something more, he does put a tighter lid on it. Even though he tries to appear comfortable and relaxed anywhere, he feels the best in nature, specifically a forest or woodland setting. He grows antsy if he’s indoors for a long period of time, without being able to step outside. He prefers the feel of moss under his bare feet, the sounds of birds tweeting and animals rustling around, the fresh smell of dirt and pine. He isn’t that comfortable indoors, especially in a tight place. He hates tight places but he’s good at hiding it. However, the longer he is in a small space, the more his nerves start to increase, and it comes out in anger and slight panic. In short, he’s claustrophobic and that is one way to get him to lose his cool, quickly. That’s also the only time he takes a longer period to recover from being angry or upset; he needs a few moments to himself, in a large space, after being in a small space for too long. Besides that, he’s just mildly uncomfortable indoors, hiding it, but if stuck inside long enough, he can be seen slightly anxious to get outside, to no longer have four walls feeling like they’re closing in on him. Nature is like a song to him, always softly calling him back, and he can’t ever resists its pull. While he tries to live among humans, he often returns to the forest, at least for a few hours each week, just to center himself and remember who he was, and where he came from. Bio: Fletcher was born into a legitimate light elven village. Elves are a very open race of creatures and so, even though his mother was half-human, Fletch was welcomed into the tiny little family of the village. After all, isn’t there a saying, it takes a village to raise a child? So, Fletch grew up learning the ways of his people, becoming one with nature itself, and learning about his abilities. While growing up, once it was discovered he had a photographic memory, everyone began to act more careful around him. Like they were afraid they’d let something he found wrong slip and he wouldn’t let them live it down. It caused him to feel out of place. He was growing tired of the simple life that the elven village brought. He felt like he didn’t quite fit in. While he felt like himself in the forest, he didn’t feel like himself in the village. The other elves had a more gentle nature about them, were social among themselves, and a tight-knit family. He, on the other hand, much preferred disappearing into the forest and hiding from everyone, trying to sort through all the thoughts in his head. Admittedly, he was curious about the world the humans walked in; he could pass for a human enough, he thought. He wanted to explore more, find out more about the world. He was growing tired of feeling tied down in the village. At 15, he found out about a tradition that the elves did not speak of until he was of that age. They arranged marriages. It was to assure their kind would keep going, since light elves were getting more and more rare. It had been in practice for a good many years now and it had easily blended into their lifestyle; since light elves cared for all creatures, it was no problem for most of them to go into an arranged marriage. Fletch found out his parents had been the result of an arranged marriage. He was meant to marry a pretty little light elf, a female, and he didn’t want it, at all, for several reasons. The biggest reason being was because he just felt no attraction to her whatsoever and he didn’t hold the same gentle and accepting nature his fellow elves did. He was different, not only in appearance, but personality as well, and the arranged marriage was his breaking point - he was going to leave. He wanted to be on his own, alone, away from everyone he knew, because he didn’t feel accepted like they so claim he was. He didn’t tell anyone, he just left in the middle of the night a few days after finding out about the arranged marriages. Packed a bag and got out of there. However, he didn’t leave the forest. He went far from his village but remained in the forest, his true home, and lived off of the wild like he was taught. He had never stepped foot in the “human world” and wasn’t sure how he could. He was curious about that world, though, and kept an eye on it from afar, from the little section of the forest he deemed his home, but never ventured out there himself. Then, came Charlie Markov. Fletch had been living on his own in the forest for 3 years by that time, making him 18, when he met the 22 year old man. Fletch still doesn’t know the exact reason why Charlie had been in the forest but after playing tricks on Charlie, since he knew that part of the forest so well, and almost getting beaten up by said man, if he hadn’t been so agile and could dodge him, a strange relationship began to form between them. Fletch found out Charlie was from the “human world” but didn’t immediately go back with him. Instead, Charlie visited him a few more times, one of those times revealing he had ties to the Dökkálfar, of which Fletch had grown up hearing stories of them, and he was amazed to find another kind of elf. Maybe that is what made them bond; while they were of a different kind of elf, they still had that link. Fletch was always asking about the “human world” and Charlie got sick of hearing him ask, so instead, he brought him back to his place, and helped Fletch adjust to the life of a human, teaching him how to blend in and such. Fletch still can’t eat all human food, or else he’ll get sick, and he still has some strange speech patterns because he learned a lot of new [s]curse[/s]words from Charlie. Being around Charlie, also, helped increase the seemingly brash personality he now has today. Fletch looks at Charlie like his family now and quite enjoys his company and personality. The reason he’s doing the alliance is because Charlie is.
