Katherin had been arrested for being different. It wasn't something she chosen. As an mutant orphan she had spent her life on the streets. She had mostly been able to stay out of sight. But as more and more mutants appeared humans were beginning to panic and take notice to even the slightest difference. And hers wasn't slight. It was very very obvious.
