[@JohnSolaris] Question regarding magic. Can different kinds of energy be converted into mana? Like, if mage 1 was in possession of a steady and intense source of heat, could he convert thermal energy into magical energy? I mean, it doesn't violate conservation of energy. The fuel source would eventually run out. However if there was enough energy present it could pay back the energy cost to cast the spell until such a time as it does run out. And what about antimatter? How does that factor in? Are there magical effects that could replicate the effects of the substance? How would a massive influx of neutrino particles effect magic and hyperspace, if at all?
