Personality: Michiko is the sort of woman that can be very close and comforting, extremely supportive, trying to bring the best out of everyone around her one minute, and then the next beating you over the head with a steal beam because you looked at her inappropriately. However, loyalty runs extremely deep with her, and expects it just as much as she gives it. Everybody on the team is her equal, in her eyes, even the PR6 handler.
Background: Born of a Japanese father and an American Mother, she never really belonged anywhere. As such she went out into the world to find herself, and to make herself a home. By way of doing this, she left her fathers dojo and traveled the world learning her martial skills whenever the opportunity presented itself, and learn new skills to supplement her fathers style. She found herself in Western Europe during the Incursion Period. She had come to the area wanting to take part in an "East meets West" style tournament, but instead found herself defending a school against extra-dimensional foes. Her name and deeds were made famous due to social media and news, already putting her on the map of government agencies. She found shortly after the incursion was over that she now had the ability to control the magnetism of objects around her. It took the UN a long time to locate Ren due to one ability in particular. She now constantly strives to find new ways to implement this into her martial arts and develop a true 'ninjutsu.'

Allows Michiko to move things through magnetism. Because of the way magnetic fields interact, she does not need to be in direct contact with an object, as long as she can see the object, or can get a strong sense of where it is through interaction with other magnetic fields, she can interact with it as long as she is touching some other form of magnetic metal, like her katana. She wears steel rings, bracelets, and steel toed boots in order to be able to use her manipulation to augment her own physical attacks beyond normal physical means. She can also use this style of manipulation on thrown or other air born objects like throwing stars. She can use it in the right circumstances to defy gravity and walk along the wrong surfaces, or briefly suspend herself upside down in a stationary manner by focusing her magnetism to draw her boots, rings, and bracelets to the metal structures found in many cities. She has found that her magnitism can also be used to impact electronics, not in any way that would be useful other then for destroying them, but she can also disrupt video feeds and things like that, making her hard to track through surveillance. If she focuses really hard, she can propel an object like a rail gun at impossible speeds, but the weight and shape greatly effect accuracy, control, and distance.

Because of the variations in how her role can be applied, Ren can fill several roles in a group from long ranged support, scouting, and assassination, to close quarters combat and spying. She is a ninja.  
Equipment: Standard ninja gear, throwing stars, various knives located around her body, katana. A bottle of fine black iron oxide sand. A set of 20, 1/2" steel balls housed in a specialized clip. Steel bands in various places around her body. Steel toed boots that strap all the way up to her knees.
