Abigail grabbed the Pokeball that contained Waffles with a huge smile on her face. For a moment, she just held it in her hands, staring at it before she started twirling around the room in joy. "Yeah! I got a Pokémon!" and other similar things were yelled out. She appeared to be trying to make a song, but it wasn't exactly a number one hit to put it lightly. It took her a while to notice that the nice man was giving her something, but once she did she clipped the Pokeball to her bag and ran over to him, grabbing her Pokedex. She switched it on, and saw that the list of Pokémon was empty. Awww. She'd wanted to know about all of them, too! How else was she supposed to decide what ones to take to the Pokémon league? This guy was a meanie. Abigail brightened up again when she was handed the Pokeball. He told them something about it, but she didn't really understand what that meant. Polyfiber? Was that like a breakfast cereal or something? It sounded like one of those weird plain ones that Mom ate all the time. Ew. “Do you have any additional questions?” Abigail raised her hand like a kid in class, except with a lot more enthusiasm. "Ooh, me! Pick me, pick me!" she yelled out. Without waiting to see if he actually picked her, she asked her question. "Um, where do you think we should go? Like, when we leave here?" While she was waiting for the answer, she looked at the Ficus Ball. Without warning, she tossed it off of the head of the blue-haired girl. She'd thought about aiming for the guy with the bangs, but she figured that he would mind it more since they didn't know each other, while the taller girl and Abigail were like, buddies now. When the ball just bounced off, straight into her hands, she looked back at Bruce. "Aww, boring. I was hoping it'd do something cool." she said, with a smile that was completely innocent as though she wasn't even aware that she'd done anything wrong. "I guess it didn't really work!" Abigail's mind was on more important things, though. She wondered if there would be candy on their journey. What if there wasn't? No. That just wasn't a possibility. Waffles would help her find some. Pokémon were supposed to help their trainers out, right? She could tell without even sending him out, that she and Waffles were gonna be the best of friends!
