A collab between Dooc(Expllo) and Jason
A Message
Summary: Isabella is thinking over the implications of a scouting report and decides she needs assistance in the matter. Who does she ask? None other than Chiron at Camp Half-Blood.

Sitting back in her chair, Isabella sighed as she looked over the same report from earlier that morning. Troubling news indeed, and frankly it was something she wasn't sure her legion could actually handle on their own. So that meant she would likely need to ask the graceus for help. Not something a Roman was particularly proud to admit, but sacrifices had to be made. Not to mention, she was fairly sure this threat was something Chiron would wish to know. With that thought in her mind, the girl pushed away from the desk and stood to leave. Taking a moment to straighten out her armor. "Of course I decided to put all this on early, smart thinking." She grumbled in a sarcastic manner before heading out behind the principalia and to the small, tiber-fed found she had installed. Producing a small coin from her pocket, the girl tossed it into the rainbow and began to recite the incantation Chiron had taught her. "Oh Iris, goddess of the Rainbow, please accept my offering. Show me, Chiron at Camp Half-Blood!" After checking up on Isa one final time, Chiron made his way outside to sit on the deck and wait to welcome more campers. In less than a minute did a rainbow circle suddenly appear in front of him almost causing him to jerk. "Well that was unexpected," he mumbled. "How are you doing, Praetor Wayne?" Raising an eyebrow in Chiron's direction, the girl remained silent breifly before she gave a calm response. "These things are always unexpected, need I remind you of the time I was in the shower and you called? I still stand by my statement that it would be easier if we just used phones, regardless of it pulling monsters or not. Either way, I am doing well today. An influx of recruits from Lady Lupa, so a bit busy." She said then sighed slightly, a minor look of irritation on her face. "Either way, I didn't call to be social. I've come across some... troubling new in reports from my scouts. Something big enough that I think we might need to work together in order to succeed." she said before falling silent once more. Chiron's cheeks flustered when she mentioned that time but he shook his head slightly, focusing back on her words. He placed a finger on his chin, thinking, allowing his eyes to drift away for a moment before they found their way onto Isabella once more. "Doesn't sound good. What is it, exactly?" "As I am sure you know my... lack of trust for communication such as this, I will only say that all signs point to your father being involved at some level. However, there is more to it... but I wish to discuss that in person. Will I be able to trust that there will be lodging at Camp Half-Blood in about... a week's time? It is something we must discuss, and something I am not comfortable setting out on the airwaves like this. I do apologize for any inconvcience I may be causing." She said firmly, hoping to make it clear that she would not be discussing such details unless she were there in person, or vice versa. Chiron sighed at the mention of his father. "It's fine. Stop by when you can and we'll discuss it then." "Very well, I shall consult with my recon teams who discovered the issue and get all the information I can from them, if you have anybody on your end who might have an idea in the slightest what he's up to, please let me talk with them. Subject to anything else you wish to discuss, I bid thee pleasant day, Master Chiron." She said with an elegant bow, as Isabella had always been a bit fond of such formalities when they were nessesscary. Chiron smiled. "Just Chiron works, you know? Have a pleasant day as well, Isabella." With that he waved his hand through the rainbow, ending the call. Nodding the old centaur's direction as the call ended, Isabella let out a sigh as weight seemed to be lifted from her chest. That was something off her chest, as she figured Chiron would know what to do a bit more than her. He had, afterall, been training heroes a bit longer than she had. Spinning on a heel, the silver haired girl then turned to head back to her office. Upon reaching the office, the girl breifly inspected her appearance in the mirror until she was satisfied that she looked presentable. With that out of the way, the girl walked over to her massive sword sitting in its stand on the wall. "Oh, how I've missed you gorgeous." She said with a small smile before reaching up and grabbing the weapon. Sheathing it on her back, Isabella would then slide her braclet onto her left forearm, knowing it would deploy into a shield when she needed it. Turning to head back out, the girl called over her shoulder, "Verum! Come on sleepyhead! Lets go meet the new recruits!" She said in an almost singsong voice, her tone reflecting the brightened mood she had from getting that weight off her chest. As the large, black shadow that was her Direwolf got up from its spot under her desk; the girl walked out of the room. Heading towards the parade grounds where the recruits should be arriving soon, Isabella figured she'd just arrive a bit early and check on things. It'd be fun.
