I remember looking up the amount of annual leave some countries get a year and was quite surprised. We get 4 weeks a year (not including public holidays) and after 10 years of work in a single company, you can get long service leave, which is extra holidays.

That sounds about the same for me. We're also allowed to carry over up to five days if we haven't used them.
