A collab between LetterA and The GM Overlord (Jason)
A New Haven
Summary: Isa decides to run from the infirmary, deciding that this camp was looney-bin. Aiden runs into the boy and talks him into staying at camp, not wanting to see another Demigod hurt when he could protect them.

"Yeah," nodded Isa, as the horse man left shutting the door behind him. "I'm definitely not just gonna chill here." Pulling the sheets off his body, the long haired boy winced as his wounds stung , rubbing his shoulder carefully as he observed his burns. Light and painful, but mostly bearable, nothing he hadn't worked with before. The only thing that sucked was his singed hair, but even then, despite all the burns and the dirt, Isa somehow managed to catch light in his hair and look beautiful. "I gotta get the fuck outta here." Grabbing the shirt he'd taken off to have his wounds tended to, Isa put it on as quickly as he could, wincing at the strain before managing. Making his way towards the door, he tested the knob and... unlocked, nice. He smiled towards others in the vicinity, and considering they weren't rushing towards him, Isa assumed Chiron hadn't told the others to keep him in the room. He even made it past the door without so much as anyone calling him back. Scratching at the bandages on his arms, he debated on taking them off, but realized maybe it'd be more normal to have them on than just dumping them and having his bruises and burns for the world to see. "Where's the fuckin," he mumbled weakly, trying to walk past people without catching their attention, smiling politely as he started his way towards the direction he faintly remembered entering from. "Shit," his legs collapsed underneath him just as he took hold of literally the only important looking building in his way, meaning eyes were on him. As he forced his legs to work, Isa held onto the side of the House, muttering with his eyes trained on to the way he'd entered from, "Shit, shit, shit." Aiden had been walking back from showing the other two around the camp. An enjoyable enough excerise, but the boy figured that they could use more help getting all the new people situated up on the hill. As the red haired boy passed by the the Big House, he happened to notice some long haired boy seeming to collapse. Immdiately he rushed over towards said boy, noticing the bandages covering arms. "Are you okay? Here, let me give you a hand, that looked like a hell of a fall there." The boy said in a friendly tone with a pleasant smile on his lips. His eye searching this other boy to see if there was any other injuries that needed atteneding too. All the while holding a helpful hand out towards the other. "Haha, no," Isa answered weakly at the stranger's appearance, swinging an arm out and pushing the person away, as though assuring he was fine. "Just feelin' faint. Bandages are a fashion statement. I'm good." He was not good. The hairs on the back of his neck were starting to drench with sweat, and Isa was really hurting. But the last thing he wanted was some guy from the crazy house putting him back into the bed and oh god the church made him paranoid as heck what the fuck-- "Honestly, I'm okay," the pretty boy forced another laugh before glancing up to offer a smile, "Sorry for worryin' you." "Excuse my language, but bullshit. I'm quite familar with lies, as well as trying to fake being okay when I'm clearly not. Let the imfirmary patch you dude, you'll be good as new in no time." The boy said simply, his expression plain as he obviously didn't buy what was said. "Trying to leave, yeah?" Isa's blood froze at the question and he visibly stiffened, his eyes looking away. "Let me guess, you're not beliving anything in this camp and think we're all crazy, right?" Aiden said with a sigh, taking a step back to lean against the railing near the boy. "Children of gods?" The question left Isa's mouth in an almost laugh as he covered his mouth with his free hand, his other hand holding on tighter and helping keep him up. "I barely studied mythology, and even then it sounded fake as shit and that's saying something considering I know the Bible by heart and now you're telling me that it's real haha, are you fucking..." He paused in his quick barrage, letting himself fall back down albeit slower this time, letting himself catch a breath. Leting his hair fall over his eyes he admitted something he'd been thinkin about for a while-- "Dude I think I'm dead." "I mean, there's no way I survived that fucking crash, and we made it far from home but somehow one of the guys from the church found me and lead me here, and he was kinda goat-y which is like, Satan vibes, you know, and my friends are probably dead and they're probably in heaven since they didn't see goat man and oh my God--" The young boy gripped his hair as he covered his face, curling up-- "I'm literally dead." "Lots of the others around here are children of the gods, yes. Same is not true for myself, the gods are technically my sibilings. As for the goat men, those are Satyrs. They're actually rather kind spirited and friendly usually. Though, some of them seem to enjoy being aggressive P.E. coaches." The boy said with a small smile before crouching down to tap on the boy's shoulder. "Its alot to take in, I know. But you're not dead buddy." Isa listened carefully as the older teen explained, but the words still barely settled into his skin. It made sense, sort of, in the little bits he'd learned about the gods at school, and God why didn't they go over this much more he's so confused. Besides, if he accepted this as the truth, that he was alive, then that means he totally left Canary and the guys back at the burning car while he left and shit. Shit. The teen's words echoed in his head-- "You're not dead buddy--" Glancing back towards the older teen, Isa's brows furrowed over his large brows. "I should be." "Why is that? What is it that means you should be dead?" Aiden said, his voice taking on a sincere tone as he grew worried. He hated to see others feeling down on themselves like this, and wanted to help. The sincerity in the stranger's voice made Isa feel disgusted, probably because anyone that talked like that tended to be uh, dead. "I just," he started, his hands trying to articulate what his words couldn't. A small laugh, somewhat genuine in it's edge of instability, "You know. Nevermind, I'm probably. Just losing it." Isa nodded his head, hair slipping over his shoulders as he did so. "Yep. I'm just, hahah, losing it. I don't even know your name. I... can we start over? Rewind like, uh, just a lil, where am I, and what buildin' is this, I'd like to know where I'm havin my lil mental breakdown and all that, hahah. Ha." "Whatever it is, it can't be that bad. We've all been at a point in our life where we felt guilty about something. Three weeks ago I failed to protect the girl I loved, and watched her run off to join my father in total destruction of the known world." He said in a sad tone and turned to look away for a little bit before focusing back on the kid next to him. "You can't exactly dwell on it and... well... basically what I am trying to say is that you can't let it control you. Anyways, you wanted to take a few steps back as I am sure whatever it is was rather personal. I'm Aiden Debacker, and you're in front of the Big House. Where Chiron and Dionysus live." He said calmly. "Nice, two dudes I now know out of the three you mentioned," nodded Isa as he repeated Aiden's name in his head. The guy clearly had shit happen to him to, which only made Isa more attached to him. More, at least, than the strange horse guy-- or uh, no Chiron-- of which the meeting was more touch and go than anything. He decided he should introduce himself as well, offering a simple, "Name's Isa. Means one in tagalog. I think, uh, that's what this one nun said." "This is all crazy and cool and stuff but uh," Isa's practice in pretending to be okay and lying slowly started picking itself up, looking a lot more comfortable albeit not feeling it. "I'm guessing I need to actually know about like, greek myths right? I know I shoulda learned a lot in classes and stuff but I didn't and uh, wait are they even myths if they're real? I'm supposed to be locked up in the infirmary." The last bit was more a panicked blurt than anything, but was for too late to retract, and Isa did what he found fitting in respose, which was a awkward shuffle of his shoulders equivalent to a shrug. "Some are just myths, stories, made up long ago. However the source material is quite true. So it might be useful to learn a few of the myths, aye." He said, and then heard the infirmary comment. "Look, I know this is probably alot and probably scary. But really, you need to let the healers patch you up. Trust me on this, people like you and me do not want to go outside those borders when we are all fucked up like this." "Yeah," started Isa, nodding his head, "Yeah. Aight I'm gonna chill here. Won't try to leave or nothin, but. Uh." The long haired boy scratched at his head, furrowing his brows as he shifted his eyes from where he'd come from to Aiden. "I don't wanna be in that room again. Uh, don't feel comfortable and stuff. So I'll just chill here for a bit." He waved at Aiden, as though shooing him off, promising a tired, "I'll literally just stay here. I'm cool. I'd rather be out than in, y'know. Hehe." "Alright... then how about we do something that will help me feel better about this without worrying that somebody is gonna die on my watch. Let me help you over to the Hermes cabin, which is where unclaimed campers like yourself live. I got a couple of friends there who can watch over and ensure you don't take a turn for the worse. Sound good?" Aiden said to the other, thinking of a way to keep this camper safe without forcing him to feel uncomfortable. Isa glanced up towards Aiden before looking back down, pausing. He finally nodded his head lightly, and in a small voice, "Okay." He raised his arms up as though asking Aiden for assistance, not really having the energy to lift himself up. Getting up himself, Aiden looked over towards the boy holding his arms out. "Good, otherwise I would've told one of them to watch you anyways." Extending his hand out to clasp Isa's wrist, Aiden helped the other boy to his feet. "Need help walking, or you good there?" He said with a small smile adorning his lips. Letting Aiden help him up, Isa struggled to get to his feet. As soon as he was up, though, moving everything else was easier than when he'd been down. "Nah, I'm good," said Isa, furrowing his brows when Aiden smiled, feeling a bit suspicious. But, realizing that it was just a thing did when people were being nice, he offered a small smile back. "So, uh, lead the way." Nodding, Aiden started walking towards the center of camp. Before long, the two were standing in front of a rather simple yet large cabin. A lot of people were inside, and the boy stepped up to the door. After a bit a rather attractive girl around Aiden's age came to the door. "Heya Rachel, got a favor to ask of you. This is Isa, unclaimed. He's a bit injured, but doesn't really wanna go to the infirmary. Could you keep an eye on him for me? I figured since he'd live here and stuff..." The girl immdiately nodded "I wouldn't mind doing that, we can ensure he doesn't die or anything." She said with a friendly smile before stepping forward to offer a hand to Isa. "Rachel Figeuroa, Daughter of Hermes, we will try to make you feel at home. Come on in!" She said and stood aside for the boy to enter. Aiden turned towards Isa and smiled, holding a fist out for the classic fist bump. "See ya around camp, yeah?" The amount of people reminded Isa immediately of the church orphanage, and a weird way, Isa felt at home. At the girl that who came forward-- Rachel-- he offered a timid shake of the hand before offerin a small nod. He wasn't the youngest in there, but he was one of the few younger ones-- just like back home. Haha, move from one orphanage to the next. Classic. "Yeah," he replied, turning briefly towards Aiden. Weakly connecting his knuckles with the older teen's, Isa grinned his forced grin, "See ya."

Yet Another Tour...
Players involved: [@Arcalept], [@Fieryfly] Stretching after dropping off Isa with Rachel, Aiden let out a soft sigh before turning to face the hill. Noticing the two figures who were still standing around on the hill. Figuring that they'd probably be a bit annoyed if they were left just standing around on the top of the hill, the boy started walking over towards the two with both hands shoved into his pockets. Looking up towards the sky, he noticed that a large cloud formation seemed to be creeping in towards the camp. Looks like there would be snow soon afterall, which was something the boy certainly hoped would happen. Being locked up in small building for most of your young life deprived of experiencing the small things, such as snow. Things that Aiden wanted to hold dear for the rest of his life. Arriving at the top of the hill, the boy offered a kind smile and wave to the girls standing there. Approaching them slowly, so as to let them finish any conversation they might have going. The would then offer them a casual greeting as he approached, "Hello, you two new as well?" He said in a polite tone, before seeming to remember something and growing temporarily annoyed with himself. "Where are my manners, I apologize, I'm Aiden Debacker. If you two are in fact new, I can show you around camp and stuff if you so desire." He said, his Londoner accent showing as he spoke. As he waited for the two to respond, he briefly thought about today. He'd spent it meeting quite a few new campers, and was beginning to wonder if he was becoming a sort of unofficial tour guide for the camp. Gods, he hoped that was not the case. Otherwise Chiron would likely take notice and ask Aiden if he wanted to do just that for most new campers. While the boy didn't particularly mind new people and knew that Chiron would have once the best intentions in making such a request... it would be a bit of a hassle. Certainly not something that Son of Kronos wanted, as he would still like to have some time to train and grow stronger in the day.
