Bodaan sat patiently, waiting for the meeting to start. Hecontinued to stare directly at the captain expectantly, but found his eyes wandering as each of the other bounty hunters came in. Competition? Partners? It was too early to tell. Regardless, Bodaan was confident that he would complete the job. The first to arrive after Bodaan was another human, a younger woman. Judging by her attire, she was likely to be Corellian. Apart from that, he knew nothing of her. but her eyes seemed to hold on him for just a moment. Did she recognize him? He certainly had hoped so. She took an empty seat and kept herself prepared. Not a bad precaution, but one that Bodaan thought unnecessary for the moment. The next to come in Bodaan did recognize, though he had to search his memory for a moment before he brought a name to the face. The kaleesh, Raz Qui Sij'Tic, greeted him with some kind of insult to his ship, yet the kaleesh had a completely friendly tone. Strange. Was this sarcasm? Bodaan couldn't tell. Rather than answer him directly, the rodian gave Raz a simple nod. He had no strong opinions of Raz, but did recall that they had met a couple times at some of Bodaan's races. Perhaps Raz was a fan? Feeling it prudent to be safe rather than sorry, Bodaan created an autoprint and slid it over to where Raz had chosen to sit. To my fan, Raz Qui Sij'Tic. Bodaan Kenu. After Raz was another one that Bodaan had recognized. The second human bounty hunter to enter was Vidori Selgan, more commonly known by his professional name "Sellgun." The jovial fellow was somewhat infamous among their ranks for disappearing while a large bounty had been placed on his own head. Bodaan had not been interested in hunting the man, but from what he had heard Sellgun froze himself in carbonite and buried himself during the time, only to resurface and rescind the bounty, which he had placed on himself. Bodaan was extremely interested in the purpose of such a convoluted scheme and what it had accomplished, but had to admit that it was still an impressive feat. Once Sellgun had gotten himself comfortable, the door opened once more. Had it not been for the sound of the door's mechanisms, and the fact that Bodaan was specifically paying attention to everyone entering the room, he might have missed the next one to enter. Another rodian, but one that was very unassuming, stepped into the conference room. This guy almost blended right into the walls, like he was just part of the scenery. Bodaan searched his memory for the identity of this one, but found nothing. His people were so numerous in the profession, and this one fit no descriptions of any notables he could think of. The Imperials wouldn't hire a no-name though, not if they had also hired the likes of Bodaan and Sellgun, so this other rodian almost certainly was hiding something. Then entered the most interesting of the group thus far. A being draped in cloak and mystery stepped foot into the conference room, hiding its face. The hunter's keep ears picked up the most telling sound of metal on the floor. The cloak wasn't large enough to conceal a man wearing heavy metal armor, unless this was a particularly small species. An option a little more likely was... A moment later and the being pulled down its hood, showing itself as a droid, but not any kind of droid Bodaan was familiar with. He shrugged it off. Ships were more his forte anyway. Finally the last bounty hunter entered, a man wearing the heavy armor and helmet of the Mandalorians. Bodaan thought little of him as he quietly took a seat, but knew that if they had all been gathered together, there must have been something extraordinary going on. As each of the other hunters entered, Bodaan took only the glance he needed to get an idea of them, then returned his gaze back to Captain Dene with that expectant look in his eyes. Finally the meeting began proper. The admiral entered, the man that had called them all here, and he immediately took charge of the situation. Then what was the purpose of Captain Dene? Was he a glorified babysitter? Bodaan quickly readjusted his thinking, as the train of thought was irrelevant. Admiral Vondell spoke to the group of the assignment, at first going into detail about Corellia and its capitol. Bodaan thought this explanation unnecessary and inefficient. Corellia was one of the most famous core worlds, and a pioneer in ship design and construction. For both the Empire and the Republic that came before, Corellia was a key system, so anybody that didn't know about it was an idiot that didn't deserve a seat in this room. Then the admiral went into the actual meat of the matter: five bounties. Three humans, a twi'lek, and a sullustan, each wanted for different crimes against the Empire. All par for the course, but there was some discrepancy with the way the job was described. Discrepancy that was quickly inquired about by Sellgun and the human woman. Bodaan's expression never once changed. He would let them ask the questions for the time being.
