I can hardly recall the last time I've felt so patronized.  I am well aware of the necessities of life.  I have the deepest sympathy for anyone whose life is so fraught with chaos and obligation that in three days' time, they can't find thirty seconds to say, "sorry, I'm busy, I can't do what I said I was going to do, go on without me."
