I don't really know much about American geography, baving lived in Thailand and England all my life, so I apologise if some geographical details got F'ed up.
Name: Kyle Moore Age: 17 Sex: [s]Yes please.[/s] Male. Personality: Kyle's a well adjusted kid despite his rough upbringing as a child and unwealthy family. He's something of an optimist, always trying to see the brighter things in each situation and having hope for a brighter future. Almost to the point where some would call him naive. He's not the smartest, however; In school, he was never able to pay serious attention to lectures and longwinded lessons, learning by doing and seeing rather than sitting down and listening. He swears by his morals, not yet brought down by the apocalypse, which stops him from stealing or killing like many people would. Physical Description: Kyle is 5"6, and is skinnier than the average for that height. He has a slightly muscular body due to exercising and being on the school track team. He has short, black hair that just reaches the top of his neck and brown eyes. His face is rather boyish and he hasn't grown any facial hair yet. Equipment: He has a shovel, useful for digging through rubble and on rare occasions bashing undead skulls in. He has his running shoes, the clothes on his back and a blue pouch. The pouch holds a bottle of water, some canned food and a flashlight with one spare battery. History: Kyle was born in Boston, Massachusetts to the lower class Moore family. He was an only child and his parents doted on him during his childhood and what little money they got was spent on food and trying to keep Kyle safe and happy. His dad tried to instill a strict set of morals on Kyle, to keep him on the straight and narrow. He taught Kyle how to defend himself if someone tried to hurt him. What he didn't know, was that his father was in fact involved with Bostons underworld. Kyle didn't know until he turned the ripe age of 10 and his pops came back from work one day, bloody and bruised. He'd made the mistake of getting money from loan sharks and paid the price. Kyle started to do odd jobs around the neighbourhood so they could get enough money to pay their debts and eventually, move out to a nicer place and a nicer house so Kyle could get a proper education. And they did. At age 14, they paid off debts and moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, got a quaint house and grew nice little flowers in the garden. Kyle got enrolled in a public school, joined the track and field team, and for the next 3 years, life was rather nice. His father got a new job and things were going pretty swell. His father died of a heart attack at age 49 a year later. Stress related, they said. Kyle's grades got even worse and he and his mom barely scraped by. It was his optimism that kept him going, plus a strict diet of instant ramen and other money saving efforts. He put his grief into his sport and became a damn good runner. Running would later save his life. Life after the Outbreak: It all started one day at school. Things were going fairly normal, all things considered. He got there, waited around until classes started, went to homeroom...It was funny, really, how normal the day started. Then someone said a weirdo had bitten him on the arm. Being relatively poor, Kyle never really watched movies or TV at home, so he didn't immediately think of zombies. Then absolute pandemonium broke loose when she started lumbering about and biting people. There were infected kids in the school, and with the amount of students, it was practically a breeding ground for zombies. It spread fast. Miraculously, with the help of two other students, they broke out. Kyle ran for his life back home in a panic, separating himself from the little trio that formed and came back to an empty house. He's locked himself into the house and hid in his room with the supplies they had. Somehow, he's survived, and no zombies have broken in. But it's been approximately a month and his supplies are starting to run low. Soon, it'll be time to head into the chaos again.
I apologise if that was shitty writing and/or longwinded. I haven't actually written in a long while so that may have been shitty? Idk. Reeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
