Okay, just about finished, I think. I haven't watched the show in many years, so I probably made stupid mistakes while crash-coursing a lot of stuff.

Name: Isla Lyall
Gender: Female
Age: Appears nineteen; has been a Flame Haze for just over 100 years.
Title: Cruel & Silent Hunter

Appearance

Just look at that cruelty. Typically, Isla wears more concealing clothes, preferring trousers, long-sleeved shirts, etc. Part of her dislike for hot weather is the necessitation to wear lighter clothes. Her hair is most commonly the ponytail seen in the picture, though she doesn't bother tying it when slacking off. On very rare occasions, she may decide to be bold and wear - gasp - twintails.

Bio

Personality: As her title would suggest, Isla tends to be very quiet. There are few that can claim to have heard her speak, and battle cries don't count! The general conception is that Isla is simply anti-social, and the type who doesn't feel the need to waste her breathe with conversation, but really, she is just a tad bit shy. And not very assertive, to the point that she's accepted being refered to as the 'Cruel Hunter', 'Silent Hunter', or whatever else people decide on. While she may not be much of a conversationilist, Isla makes up for it with her dedication to protecting the living from the Crimson Denizens that would seek to feast upon their existence. Despite the cool, collected and even anti-social air that Isla emits, the eagerness with which she fights the denizens seems almost out-of-character for someone like her, and the smile worn upon victory most certainly contributed to half of her title. Suffice it to say, Isla does not like or trust the Crimson Denizens. Well, except for those contracted to Flame Hazes, at least they had the decency to find an alternate method to sustain themselves! Outside of Isla's shyness or identity as a Flame Haze, she's a surprisingly lazy and unnmotivated girl, far more content to lie around all day and nap, or mess around with today's technology - that internet thing could suck away entire days of her time! Although, given how clueless she seems to be with most devices these days, it's a wonder she hasn't blown herself up trying to use a toaster. At least she's earnest about using them?

Likes: Napping, watching TV, eating fish
Dislikes: Hot weather, Crimson Denizens
Quirks: When Denizens are involved, Isla is much less likely to calmly and rationally deal with the situation, regardless of said Denizens' actual risk. She also has a fondness for eating fish, with herring being a particular favourite.

Brief History: A typical girl, living her life in the bonny Shetland Isles, when the fairly atypical occurence of Denizen happenings... well, happened. 'Luckily', it was simply a Rinne collecting power for its' master, and Isla would have been just another source of food, had Wulver not reached to her. It was the right time, right place for Isla, and she hastily accepted the contract, and with the Lord's guidance, dispatched of the Rinne. The damage had not been too widespread, but there were still several people that had been taken by the Rinne before she could do anything to stop it. Despite her desire to avenge their deaths, Wulver had wisely preached patience and training - after all, her newfound abilities would matter little against opponents capable of matching her strength, and her anger would surely give way to fear at the worst moment. Isla learned from other Flame Hazes, at Wulver's suggestion. She watched how they worked, assisted with dispatching Rinne, and learned how to utilise her skills, until she was eventually ready enough to strike out on her own. Unfortunately, with no knowledge of the exact Denizen that had allowed the attack on her home, she couldn't exactly storm towards its' stronghold. So, she decided to broaden her target a bit; if all Denizens are defeated, chances were good that she'd hit the one that stole away her friends and neighbours. and so, Isla has done anything she can to further that goal. If she discovers any signs of Crimson Denizens, she will hunt them down and slay them. If a fellow Haze requires her assistance, she will gladly give it, even if it furthers misconceptions about her personality. ...And if she can find the time, slack off for a day, because sometimes those things hide too well for her liking.

Combat

Weapons: A pair of knives, named "Klo" and "Fhang". Klo, sheathed under her left armpit, is slightloy longer at 19cm, and Fhang is located near her right ankle, 12cm long. Isla's fighting style favours speed and evasion, looking for an opening to strike her opponent down in as few hits as possible.
Color of Flame: Wheat-brown.

Powers

Agile Beast - By consuming Existence, Isla can temporarily up her speed, and increase the effects by using even more. Unfortunately, diminishing returns means she can only boost so much before the cost becomes incredibly counter-productive; at best, she can triple her speed for twenty seconds.
Howl of the Beast - Isla can bellow a howl packed with enough power to momentarily stun opponents - generally the weaker ones, as it has proved to be of little use against anything stronger than a Rinne.

Unrestricted Spells

Seal/Purifying Flame - Standard-issue Flame Haze powers
Fishing - A spell of Isla's own invention, she can use her body as a 'lure', attracting sealife to her location. Very handy for collecting dinner. Obviously, not much use on dry land.
Equipment: Not much else of note. She does carry around a dated mobile phone that she has yet to figure out how to even switch on.

Crimson Lord

Name: Wulver
True Name/Title: Reclusive Beast of Benevolent Watch
Gender: Male
Keepsake: A flat, rounded stone, simply dubbed as Wulver's [s]Stane[/s] Stone.
Personality: Laid-back and rather easy-going, Wulver likes to approach things casually, and tends to do the talking in place of Isla. He holds a deep appreciation for human culture, despite his preference to keep at a certain distance. Taking on an almost fatherly role to Isla, Wulver often tries to get her to socialise with her fellow Flame Haze a little more, if only so she doesn't seem to so lonely sometimes. Despite Wulver's relative warmth, he would hesitate to describe himself as 'good', if only because of his role. At best, he considers himself of a neutral force that exists to correct the balance - that said, his advice tends toward displays of compassion, and takes pride when Isla acts selflessly.
