Well, I,ve always had the intention of having the blacklands support underdogs. As in they view a large country (particularly those of humans and elves) as wicked untrustworthy oppressors. Up to you how justified such distrust is as I don't want to force such an 'opresses our people for their race' subplot on those that don't want it.
