So you've now introduced artifacts and I thought magics existed, but the only thing he could do for now was summon a white wisp. His items were the magic things. His mask was first given to him and was supposed to evolve to give him his heightened senses and ability to see otherworldly, ethereal or otherwise invisible things. The door was supposed to act as a shield against such things, eventually being able to morph into the shape of a real more easily wielded shield. For now it's strapped to his back most of the time. It finally would be able to open into a portal, but that would be a ways down the road. Should I write artifact sheets for them, but you also wrote only one artifact per person? He'd be fine without either one or even both, but just things I thought seemed interesting. [@Polybius]
The Artifact Idea is meant to get players working on something together. I think Echo's items are magical, but not necessarily Artifacts. Artifacts are like the One True Ring or Excalibur-things so powerful they shape the world around them. Your inventory is fine as long as the items gradually gain power over the course of Echo's story. By the way, what do you mean by 'a door'? Is it like a Kite Shield ?
