Echo turned as it exited the shrubbery as well. He noticed the girl wielding a fife like a knife and smiled a bit as if to chuckle to himself in this tense situation. The knight also drew his sword at the sight of it emerging, but as it crossed it's tentacles the man lowered his sword and made the symbol on his chest. It was rather odd, but slightly reassuring nonetheless. As it stretched two more tentacles out with hands turned up, he understood that it was meaning for peace right now. Perhaps this thing couldn't speak either. Echo didn't dismiss the wisp but he dimmed it's light. Echo could see that the creature was vying for peace at the moment, but it didn't seem like the girl got that message. He waved his lantern in front of her to get her attention. When he got it, he took a deep breath and made a calming motion in an attempt to get her to relax a bit. He was still on edge though. He never saw a creature try for peace and they betray it, but a man did try it once. Fortunately it ended well for Echo and not so much the man, but he wasn't going to let it happen again. He kept his guard up for any unwanted movement's of the ethereal arms toward the three. With his free hand he waved to the creature in an attempt to communicate with it.
