3rd Seat Takahashi Kaede
Kaede was out delivering some papers for a different division. As soon as she handed them, she gave a quick smile and left, brisking walking back to the 9th Division. She sat down on the ground for a few minutes and sighed. It's hard with most of the captains and lieutenants going off on missions. Now she was stuck here, having to deal with all the training and stuff. And the printing, gosh. The other seated members were helping, thankfully, so she didn't have to deal with everything. Though it was nice to feel like the boss as she was temporarily in charge of the squad until the captain and Lieutenant Kimashi comes back. After a moment's rest, someone called her out, yelling for her to go back in. "Oh dear," she sighed. She wished she could go with them on the mission. It's been a while since she had been assigned one. But at the same time, she didn't want to. They haven't even left Sereitei yet, but there's already a thick stack of paperwork waiting for them on their desks. She could only imagine how much it would pile up if they were absent for a few days. Disastrous. Kaede and the rest of them would probably help a little with those that didn't need the captain's signature or where needed soon, but it's the end of the school year in the Shinou Academy, and they'd have to get the newly grads accustomed in the division and start training them. And her yearly tradition too. She was finished with some of them, probably about half of them from the number of names she saw on the list. Oh so many things to do, she wouldn't be able to squeeze in some training for herself. She broke out of her counting when someone called her again. "I'll be there in a moment," she called back. She shunpoed inside and stopped just right beside her fellow 5th Seat and facing him. The room silenced almost immediately. Glancing at the corner of her eye, she could see some trainees jump at her sudden appearance, which made her slightly smirk. She looked back at him."So what's in it for today?" He answered her. "It's zanjutsu." She faced the trainees and saw their asauchi out. "Oh, I see. Continue now," she waved her hand. "Paperwork and the newspaper," he said to her. She quickly understood and left.
