Nearly a year before his death, Billy the Kid was killed. Despite the death of these two famous criminals the outlaw lifestyle is still idolized by many wanna be desperadoes. More and more people seem to be taking up their guns and embarking on a life of crime. Ranchers herd their cattle to rivers to drink, bandits ransack trains, rob banks, topple carriages and steal horses, bounty hunters then track down these outlaws and bring them to justice. Any man can make a living here, only if of course they have the necessary skills to avoid being shot in the back and tossed in a shallow grave in the middle of nowhere. The area near the border to Mexico will be the focus of this storyline. The quiet town of Soursprings, home to a few hundred simple-folk. Unbeknownst to its residents the town will clash with a band of renegade outlaws, their list of crimes almost as long as the list corpses they've created. A group of makeshift bounty hunters is organized to chase down the outlaws. Someone has to put a stop to them... Welcome to the Wild West. Your characters may be from any walk of life, they could be resident farmers who are forced to defend their home, former outlaws turned bounty hunters, or travelers just making a stop in Soursprings when the outlaws hit. The RP is intended to be historically accurate and realistic to certain points. There is no magic, dragons or zombies. Character death is a possibility. My aim is to recall the most fun parts of the Wild West fiction while bringing in intriguing plotlines and character development. So does anyone want to take a trip to the Wild West?
