[@Prince of Seraphs] I think you have a point with the name.  So Sini's lord or lady would be Maxwell's master in the end, okay.  *grumbles something*  Magical healing isn't completely necessary for him, but he's a very skilled physician/doctor/healer/whatever.  If in a place with zero medtech, that means magic is sorta required or he becomes useless...Hm.  I wonder if assigning a very minor fey or a construct or something to work with him to handle the magic portion would work.  I think giving an artifact to a human would be seen as unwise, because of the control issue and the value of the artifacts, though an expert in healing would be valued a good bit, so...*rolls*  My preference would be less an artifact and more a very simple magic item, but it doesn't sound like those are things.
