Alcander nodded to Claire and smiled to Cass when she winked. His smile turned open mouth and didn't disappear when she began telling Desh off, but that was (mostly) because he was so taken aback by the demand in her voice at good living conditions. Once someone got him on something he felt strongly for, you almost couldn't tell he was the guy that used to be in the background.
