"Oh." 

Jennifer was surprised by the casualness of the man's voice coming from the other side of the door. Before heading out, she figured it'd be a good idea to wrap the blanket around herself so that she didn't go out there half naked. Not that her safety wasn't at stake, but she'd much rather confront the guy with a little bit more dignity. 

Once she opened the door, she took a peek outside and found a stranger she'd never seen before sitting on the couch. By the looks of his relaxed posture, Jennifer figured he wasn't much of a threat. Not right now, anyway.

"First things first, could you undo these handcuffs?" she asked, carefully holding out her hands in front of her to prevent the blanket from slipping off her shoulders, "Unless you're working for [i]them[/i], in which case, I might as well go back into that room." She wasn't being serious, but Jennifer thought a little humor might make her more likeable.
