Meh, I was thinking about Zora- ironic seeing as Rito and Zora are considered distant cousins- but I thought the ability to fly would be a lot more applicable than being able to swim fast/long- because while I can fly above people while they walk around, there isn't always a body of water to swim alongside my compatriots.

If I recall the old iteration, you had a system of rupees and equipment for people to purchase for starting characters- all of which I still have in my old intcheck remake of this rp from like... 2 years ago.. That was a system of resource management/balance that I enjoyed playing with and eventually led to the robot-builder system I use in one of my current RPs. tl;dr: Nevis is responsible for the development of one of my core series' systems.
