[indent]A taller individual, Luke stands at 6'1" and has more of an athletic build, which he's attributed to his more senior years of high school and the time afterward, during which he has spent a reasonable portion of his time at the gym. He's not a bodybuilder by any degree, but he is at least reasonably muscular. Generally he'll keep his hair somewhat short, but has been known to grow it out when he feels like doing so, he religiously uses product in it however, he's a fan of his hair. Luke usually has a smirk of some kind on his face, and has been noted to generally look a bit smug. In recent years he'd grown a beard which he is rather fond of, he treats it well although its overall length varies from time to time.

A paler individual, Luke tends to wear darker colours to complement his light skin tone. He has a few more casual t-shirts and jeans, but prefers to look nice if he can, as a result owning a fair few buttoned and polo shirts, nicer trousers and coats. He's not one for being overdressed, but usually aims for 'best dressed'. An average outfit would be a sweater over a buttoned shirt, chinos and leather boots. In colder weather, he'll usually opt for a longer coat and a scarf atop all that.[/indent]

[indent]If you hadn't known Luke for a while, you'd probably come to the assumption that his mother was some sort of saint for putting up with him. Smug, Witty, and overall a colossal smart-ass, Luke always has something to say about everything, usually in a manner which he finds amusing. Luke might have made an ideal comedian one day, always being the class clown of sorts and usually able to make people laugh. The issue with this attitude was that it meant Luke tended to have a little trouble taking things seriously, when bad times came around he'd usually shrug them off and laugh about them until they went away, rather than dealing with the trouble head-on.

Speaking of trouble, it was something Luke got himself into quite a lot. A fan of breaking rules, Luke had a habit of landing himself in detention, or in more rare cases, the back of a police cruiser as part of some big joke he'd had in the works. His more laid-back and 'rebellious' attitude usually meant that he didn't perform quite as well as he was able to during his schooling, generally getting average grades when it was fairly evident to his parents and teachers that he was capable of more.

When it comes to relationships, Luke has something of a one-track mind. Keen to get a girl in bed, but just as keen to sneak out down the fire escape in the morning, Luke is terrified of commitment, and has never managed to hold a relationship for longer than a few brief months, despite having had many of them over his years. He is quite the flirt, and doesn't really seem to have any 'type' he goes for, he likes women of all shapes and sizes and unfortunately for them, some like him back.

Despite his flaws, those close to Luke know that he is incredibly trustworthy and loyal. Luke is generally the go-to one for your concerns, complaints and secrets, he may try and laugh them off with you, but he takes them to heart and never betrays the trust a friend has put in him. He also tries to be as honest and open with everyone as he can be.[/indent]

[indent]Luke came from an interesting upbringing. His mother was a self-employed accountant and his father was a member of the Green Berets, as a result being away quite a lot throughout Luke's early childhood. Most of Luke's upbringing was then undertaken by his mother, who did quite well. She raised Luke throughout his earlier years to be kind, friendly, and never to pick on other kids, but most of all she gave him his love of music which he'd carry throughout his life. Teaching him piano at a young age, it was fairly evident to his mother that Luke had some skill with music, and he started to undertake guitar lessons as well when he started schooling, followed by the drums and bass.

Middle School was the start of Luke's more rebellious attitude, and coincidentally it was around this time where he began to be around his father more. Desiring to break away from his father's more strict kind of parenting, Luke deliberately ignored his father and made an effort of getting himself into trouble to sort of undermine his father. By the end of middle school Luke had been sat down by his mother and after a long talk began to realise how harsh he was being to his father for no real reason, but by then the seeds had began to sprout, and Luke was a troublemaker for life.

When he got into high school, Luke began to engage more with his musical side, starting up both a band and a YouTube channel to express himself through his music. As a result of this focus, the only class which Luke ever really aced at school was his music one, he spent most of the time he wasn't at school or the gym with his friends or playing music, either alone or with his band, never really doing much more than a few cheap gigs at local bars. It was a passion he held though, and after graduating became more active with. Not bothering with university, he spent most of his time looking for work and working with his band inbetween, getting a few more gigs but still never anything major.

In recent years, as things for Luke haven't really developed or grown a great deal, he's matured to a degree and become more aware that he needs to do something with his life. Partially out of the urging of his father, and partially due to the university funding to follow, Luke has made a decision to join the US Marines, and is set to properly enlist once he returns from the trip, hoping that it'll do some good for him as a person, or at least get him into university for free.[/indent]
