He turned around only to receive a light shove that seemed a lot more threatening than it would normally have been without the knife inches from his face. When she was done, he quickly snatched the knife from her and held up an accusatory finger. "You know what?" he began, raising his voice. "You're absolutely right!" At this point he seemed to be agreeing with her but for some reason was still shouting. "I don't know why I'm still yelling!" he admitted before realizing that he was yelling and holding a large kitchen knife, which probably made him look like a dangerous psychopath. He quickly tossed the knife over onto the couch before continuing, this time in a much calmer voice. "Look, my head's a little fried right now with all the clones and the cops and the crazy shenanigans and whatnot. Maybe I did overreact." Seeming much calmer now, he placed his hands gently on the tops of Jennifer's arms in a reassuring manner then ran them down her arms until he held both her hands together in his own between them. He smiled a soft and friendly smile at her, right before he slapped the cuffs back on her. "But you're right. I should stop treating you like you're more than a job." He continued to smile at her like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. He waited just long enough for what he had just done to sink in, then scooped her up onto his shoulder. "Suggestive side comments it is." he commented before opening the door and heading out.
