In truth, I'm having a hard time staying interested in this. I still fail to find the premise. I can't tell if this is a spar of mages, or a world building, long-haul storyline.

Firstly, it seems we are not only required to totally rewrite our characters(or more than likely make completely new ones) how you would see fit, but it also seems mandatory that our character be [b]altered[/b] to fit in... whatever this happens to be at this point.

So I'd like to know. What [i]exactly[/i] are you looking for with this? I have been under the assumption this would be a run of the mill battle of magical archetypes for crown of Best Magus or something to that affect. What we have here seems far more intensive and convoluted.
