[@SinfulSkills] Jo and Carla were talking idly and lounging on the sand, soaking in the late afternoon sunshine. Jo leaned back on her elbows and closed her eyes. "I really enjoy days like today. Thanks for hanging out with me." She nudged Carla with her elbow. Carla looked over at her and smiled. "I love hanging out with you. You're my best friend." Jo sat back up and stared out at the ocean. Carla pulled her knees to her chest and sighed. "I am kind of nervous about meeting this guy though," She admitted sheepishly. Jo closed her eyes again. "You will be fine! You are gorgeous and funny and talented and successful. You can stop me anytime." Jo grinned. Carla laughed. "No. I think you should keep going. Just a few more and I think you'll have a complete list," she joked with her friend. She went silent for a moment. "OH MY GOD! JO! THERE'S A GUY IN THE OCEAN!" She shouted and jumped to her feet. Jo rolled her eyes and looked up at her friend. "Yes, Carla, There are tons of guys in the ocean today. That's because it's summer time and it is very hot outside." "NO! He fell! I think he fell from the sky!" She squealed and grabbed her board. "Jo, he may need help!" She darted toward the water. Jo jumped up and ran after her, board in tow. She could see a small, white object floating gently on the waves as the tide drew him to shore. "Maybe he's stranded from a boat or something. There is no way he fell from the sky. You must be seeing things." Carla nodded and started paddling against the oncoming tide. "Maybe," She agreed. as they fought the rising tide to get to the man. [@SinfulSkills]
