A bit yea, the RP's story is going to be focused around modern human reaction towards a sudden appearance of other sentient races and their reaction to the sudden appearance of a race that is much much MUCH more advanced then theirs. Throwing in an alien from another planet would kinda kill that mood.

Also I plan to try and keep combat realistic (as realistic as a group of people fighting against a fantasy novel can get) so having a character be able to outperform the others would kinda upset that and throw off the purpose of the RP. 

Not that I want to dash your dreams just I feel like it wouldn't fit at all, sorry.
