He pulled his hoodie up and gripped his bag tighter as he continued on walking. Karl had just finished school and was now on his way home. He suddenly paused... and took out a silver coin. he spotted the well of wishes. A old medieval looking well that looked out of place given the era it was in. Karl found it unique and was glad it hadn't be torn down like the council had planned to do on numerous occasions. Karl walked over to the well and leaned right over. He looked at the coin and made the same wish he had been making for the past month. For his life to change. Karl tossed the coin and watched it go down in the pit of darkness, He stood and waited and listened for the indication of it reaching the bottom. Karl heard nothing.. Suddenly a bright white so bright made Karl jump back in surprise, , " WTF ! " Karl yelled and fell back on the floor. A huge blast came out of the well and a brightly lit object, came out along with it. The onject which looked like a book, leaped right in the air and landed with a thud, at the food of Karl's feet. Karl watched with shock his eyes became wide, as the book came floating towards him and was now dangling in front of him wanting Karl to reach to take it. Karl slowly moved his hand up and daring himself to take the book. Karl sat properly up and then took the book with both hands. He carefully examined it closely, It read...
