Kino listened quite closely to Jhino, looking into his words for any sign or message that may be important to the exercise that Jhino was about to set in place, but the reality of the situation seemed simple: Jhino was going to test him in combat. Kino also knew of this specific training ground. Number Seventeen. There was nothing truly special about it in terms of equipment, but it was a historical site that many called the Birthplace of the Conqueror. Some twenty years ago, this was the place that Sai ripped out the heart of his lover and took over what would only ever be known as his regime. This was place was the final stand of the Hon. In this place, genjutsu masters and psychic mediums alike could swore by the intensity of this area, and few ever visited it due to that. Most of these training ground were left unattended to, meaning it was one of the few places in all of Konoha left scarred from its previous battles. Dummies that still had kunai of all sorts protruding, the ground was disturbed almost everywhere and the tree line was devastated - all things that senju caretakers would have repaired at the end of any day for any other training ground. But not this place. No one cared for the Birthplace of a Conqueror. As Jhino inched forward, Kino took no time in summoning his bow. He jumped back, then unleashed a flurry of three arrow shots aimed directly at Jhino. Unlike kunai, senbon or shuriken, these arrows were shot at blinding speeds that were nearly impossible to track with the untrained and even shinobi eye. They were a blur to shuriken thrown by a weapon-nin. After even seeing speed of one arrow, it would be easy to take note that benefits of a bow were its speed when compared to other ninja tools. In the same motion jumping backward, Kino dropped two smokescreens from his hand after releasing his arrows and created two shadow clones within the smoke. All of these actions taking place mere moments after Jhino tried to walk closer to him, like an indomitable wall. Kino and his clone darted off in opposite, but parallel directions. Running on either side and trying to regain vision through the smokescreen, Kino wanted to get an advantage in terms of placement on Jhino. After that, it would all depend on who Jhino went after: his clone or him. If it was his clone, Kino intended on forsaking his bow and turning to hand-to-hand while firing arrowshots at the two, knowing his clone would absorb chakra and return it to him when dispelled. If it was Kino himself, Kino intended on using the same tactic he did there with arrows, smokes screens and clones, hoping that Jhino would pick the clone this time and would swarm him with the other. Kino could create up to four shadow clones, so statistically he had an 80% chance total that Jhino would be swarmed by clones that would all absorb bits of his chakra, giving Kino a net gain of chakra instead of consuming it for the shadow clone jutsu, all the while attempting to riddle Jhino with arrows.
