Sigurd's investigation of the body will yield the following facts: -He has been dead for two days. -He has a three pronged stab wound in his chest, indicating the possibility of a pitchfork. It does not appear severe enough to be fatal on its own. -His throat was slit with a short and slightly dull blade with a serrated edge. -His burns indicate that whatever source of fire scorched him was dispersed a uniform circular pattern for a limited period of time (as opposed to a fire that spread naturally to that part of his body. -No traces of oil or anything else to help the fire burn was found on his body.
