On other bitchy topics: What the fuck is with six-foot tall stacks of patio chairs.

As part of my last call at work last night I had to pack out a stack of new patio chairs towards the very end of the day. Shit was taller than me and was held together by eight straps to cut. And then I had to figure out how to get it down. I figured I'd try to gently lay it down on the ground best I could and just pull them apart from there to put on the shelf.

I underestimated their weight and they fell, in an attempt to catch them and slow the fall I tried to grab it to prevent anything breaking but instead got the full effect of the corner of this stack smacking down against my hand at its full weight. It fucking hurt and I swear I couldn't close my hand for a full minute.

Meanwhile the opening cashier is standing by looking my way and doesn't bother to ask what's up and if I need help.

Still hurts. Fuck.
