Personality: Sable is, frankly, a nasty human being. She is abrasive, mean spirited and outright malicious towards those around her, especially towards those who would refuse to bend to her notions and whims. She is a bully, who relishes in boosting herself up by bringing others down with toxic personal attacks, finding the false sense of superiority it brings utterly intoxicating. Often, such attacks fall upon humanity's counterpart in this world, whom she holds no actual distaste for on a personal distaste for but finds to be easy targets who rarely offer up as much resistance as her kin. Her foul nature is only further worsened by a volatile temper which she rarely bothers reigning in, far preferring to make others suffer than to inconvenience herself by restraining such urges. She is a woman obsessed with perfection, who craves the top spot in all she does with all her being. Denying her such or exercising superiority over her in any meaningful way is a sure fire way to crawl under her skin and much like any good sore loser, she rarely forgets or forgives such a grudge. Weapon: Dust absorbing tattoos connected to a pair of bracelet 'injectors' with revolving dust capsules. Weapon Name: Xanatos Gambit Weapon Functions: Consisting of a series of black, archaic looking tattoos which spread along the whole of Sable's body with the exception of her face, Xanatos Gambit is a fairly unique 'weapon' which harkens back to a time when dust usage was more 'natural'. These tattoos, infused with a dust reactive ink, allow Sable to use her body as a conduit for unleashing nature's wrath. Two pairs of smooth, silver bracelets function as its only mechanical component. Within each non-descriptive looking accessory lay several vials of dust attached to a revolving mechanism. At will, Sable is capable of shifting through her prepared dust and selecting a vial. Upon doing so, it will 'hook' into a needle like device which jabs downwards into the girl's wrists. From there, dust is flowed down into her tattoos where, in tandem with her aura, she is capable of manipulating it to form powerful 'spell' like abilities. Alternatively, she can use this dust to augment her physical abilities and add elemental effects to her hand-to-hand assaults. Each bracelet is capable of holding four vials of dust at a time. While she is capable of changing its load out at will, Sable is most used to a specific set of dust; fire, wind, ice, lightning. As such, her default load out is almost always of these four and she is most skilled in their usage. As each type of dust varies in its applied effects, what abilities Sable can call upon at any given time differs. When channeling a specific kind of dust, her tattoos glow softly with its particular color. Fire; When using fire dust to augment her physical attributes, Sable is capable of increasing her strength and cloaking parts of her body in a roaring inferno, inflicting burns on those she strikes and igniting suitable substances. In the department of 'spells' she possesses the ability to launch balls of fire towards her opponents, quick bursts of flame and with some difficulty and a deal of drain, sustained streams. Wind; When using wind dust to augment her physical attributes, Sable increases her speed by unleashing quick bursts of air to propel herself towards or away from opponents and increasing the impact of her strikes by causing said bursts to radiate from points of contact. In the department of 'spells' she possesses the ability to launch blasts of concussive wind, minor whirlwind to uproot foes and sustained gales. Earth; When using earth dust to augment her physical attributes, Sable can increase her physical durability by 'hardening' her body parts in layers of stone like dust, thereby protecting her from certain forms of damage and greatly reducing damage taken. This hardening also increases how much damage she inflicts on hit. Her 'spells' while using this kind of dust shifting or otherwise altering the terrain below an opponent, launching jagged projectiles of rock and levitating or manipulating chunks of earth in offensive or defensive maneuvers. Lightning; When using lightning dust to augment her physical attributes, Sable increases her ability to perceive and react to incoming threats by stimulating her nervous system, as well as flowing electricity into her foes when striking. Her 'spells' while calling upon this element involve launching quick, compact bolts of lightning, sending flows of electricity through suitable substances and firing off sustained streams. Armor/ Clothing: Sable opts for loose fitting and comfortable clothing over anything which may restrict her movement, typically favoring tank tops and baggy trousers which lack any true fashion. Her clothing, much like her soul, is almost universally black or dark in shade. She refuses to wear shoes, even outdoors. Semblance Name: Aural Construct Semblance: An odd semblance for a woman who wishes to tear so much down, Sable's ability allows her to manifest her aura outside of her body in the form of constructs. These constructs can be nearly anything she can imagine, from a pair of scissors, to a suit of armor, to a massive arm and beyond. Possessing the ability to freely manipulate her constructs as she sees fit, these incredibly durable objects can fill many gaps in the bruiser's skill pool. It, of course, has its drawbacks however. As her aura is finite, so too is the number of constructs she can make at any given time and the size of said constructs. The more complex a construct is, the more focus it requires to create and control. It also goes without saying that manipulating a multitude of objects also leaves one hard pressed to do much else. Strengths: Bulldozer; Sable possesses great physical strength which is only further augmented by her semblance and dust usage. Her high offensive capabilities and blitz tactics can quickly overwhelm foes. Multi-Talented; Using a hybrid style comes with advantages, as Sable of fighting competently up close and from afar, using enhanced melee and spells to engage in both spheres of battle, as well as enjoy utility from the latter. Analytical; Sable is a perceptive woman, whose venomous nature causes her to instinctively look for weakness in others. This is particularly useful in combat, where she can quickly inspect and deduce counteractive measures, or shore up any weaknesses in an allies' form of combat. Weaknesses: Bright Lights Burn Quick; Sable's fighting style is one which taxes her aura reserves a great deal, making unsuited for drawn out conflicts and prone to 'burning out' if she is not careful. No Weapon; Using her body as a weapon comes with obvious disadvantages, especially when running low on dust or aura and having no back up to defend herself with. Temperamental; Sable's volatile nature is easily exploited by clever opponents, leading to lapses in judgement and fumbles in more difficult to pull off maneuvers and spells. Bio: Sable's life began among the wilds of the world, born outside the safety of the kingdoms to a mother of Huntress origin and a father whom she would never know. Her mother, a mercurial woman with a certain flair for cruelty much preferred life outside of civilization, a place where her prowess as a combatant was more important than political pomp or ability to deal with those she deemed unworthy of her time. A place where only power truly mattered and kept at bay the Grimm which swarmed the world's many wildernesses. In her eyes, the perfect place to rear a child. It was this decision, along with her mother's innate attitude, which would forge young Sable from the innocence which all children were born to the ball of hate she would become as an adolescent. Many a day she spent clinging to her only parent's cloak as they trudged through wastelands, forests and caverns and many a night did she spend, fearing for herself as beowulves, deathstalkers and all form of other foul monster roamed the twilight hours. But, for all her critical words and poor decision making, Sable's mother kept her safe, fed and educated. She was taught to survive, adapt and thrive in harsh circumstances. Taught to follow in the foot steps of the only person in her sad world. As such, upon reaching the required age, Sable was shipped from the wilds with little input of her own towards the kingdoms her kin had despised so for an education in the arts of hunting. She was unprepared, for all intents and purposes a socially inept apprentice with a foul attitude and a grudge with those around her. But, she survived, she adapted and she made it through her initial training at Signal Academy. It was then an option was given to her; which secondary academy to attend. While some scrambled for prestigious Beacon of made haste for a military school in Atlas, she chose a smaller, more isolated school.
