Name: Chamoisee Lacaune Nicknames: Chami Age: 17 Gender: Male Species: Faunus. Sheep. Face: Very thin and somewhat effeminate with a pointed chin. There is a small beauty mark beneath his left eye, though that’s a somewhat minor feature compared to the long droopy cream colored ears framing his face or the tiny horns poking out from his forehead. ‘Suffers’ from a bad case of resting bitch face. Hair: Tightly curled cream colored hair. Tends to keep it short due to its tendency to fro out. Eyes: Green Skin: Olive skinned. Frame: Chami is a rather coltish young man. Tall and thin, though not having quite grown in the muscles needed to balance out his lankiness. Height: 6’1 Weight: 145 lb (65.8 kg) Personality: Chami is a soft spoken person who is a bit…sheepish, if you would. He finds it a monumental task to converse with people and not resort to two to three word responses. This, combined with his aforementioned chronic resting bitch face syndrome, can sometimes lead people to initially think of him as hostile or agitated. He tries to assure people with the occasional joke or quip to ease tension, to varying degrees of success. Honesty and pragmatism are also things he values highly. He is blunt and forward with his feelings and opinions with those he considers friends (for better or for worse) and its frankly comical at how awful of a liar he is. When it comes to problems, he often prefers the most immediate and direct solution, as over analyzing the issue leaves him anxious and impatient. Weapon: A pair of dull gold colored gauntlets covering the arms and shoulders (with conductive ram heads on the knuckles) and a pair of matching boots reaching up to just above the knee. Weapon Name: Jetstream Aries Weapon Functions: Using micro dust thrusters housed in the ankles, elbows and shoulders, Chami uses his weapons to charge down his opponents and deliver more kinetic punch to his….well punches and take full advantage of his semblance (see below). However, it has zero ranged capability, Chami having sacrificed that option to reinforce the weapons internal systems so it could handle the massive stresses of routine sudden acceleration, shock, high temperatures, and deceleration. While it was built to synergize with his semblance (see below), physical limitations still exist, as excess heat from using his semblance requires time to dissipate (30 seconds to a minute an a half depends on how often its been used recently) or risk catastrophic damage to the weapon. Armor/ Clothing: Outside of school uniforms, Chami perfers to stick with good old fashioned plain T-shirts and blue jeans. Hard to beat the classics after all. While hunting, however, he opts for simple black jeans and a sturdy gray thermal sweater (Jetstream Aries is ostentatious enough on its own.) Semblance Name: Android Dream Semblance: Chami can convert the immediate force acting on his body into electrical energy. That’s right. He is the electric sheep, albeit conditionally. Firstly, the forces acting on him must be significant (he doesn’t generate electricity from gravity or someone gently tapping his shoulder for example). Secondly, this electrical energy cannot be stored, it is either discharged or it will hurt him and the range is barely beyond his skin. While in theory it could be used in a defensive manner, in practice it is simply not practical. As stated, it is the /immediate/ force acting on his body, meaning he’d have to active it every time he is struck(and at the exact moment he was struck), and even then he’d still be stuck with a charge he could not get rid of and be hurt anyway. As a result, he uses his semblance exclusively for offense and built his weapon to synergize with this as much as possible. Strengths: -Mid to close range combat: His weapons high mobility and damage make him a very scary front line fighter to deal with. -Apply directly: Understands the value of the direct approach and brute force and how to effectively apply it. -Is a sheep: dude. Look at him. He’s fluffy and adorable. How could you not want this guy around? Are you sick or something? Weaknesses: -Border line Baaautistic: He’s not much of a talker. He’s certainly friendly; just don’t expect him to bust out any award winning oratory anytime this millennia. -Extremely close quarters: His weapon essentially fires him around at high velocity, which is very hard to do in a small hallway without putting yourself into a wall. -Physics: limitations on materials and the laws of reality still apply. His weapon gets hot and risks major damage if he tries to pump his semblance through it too often. His thrusters are also not magic, if he’s flying head first into a wall, he’s not going to stop on a dime. -No Range, no life: He can close the distance quickly, but that’s about all he can do with someone engaging in a long range battle. Bio: Chamoisee Lacaune is the son of Briggs ‘Thunder Knuckle’ Lacaune. A man know for three things. Firstly, the intrepid and fearless nature that he showed during the first decade of settlement in Vault. Having brought his timid son through the vast majority of it. And lastly for having the most inappropriate nickname among the hunters, as he does not have a fist based weapon, nor does he make use of thunder dust. Both Lacaune’s were from Vale originally, Briggs (a single father) made a modest living as a hunter, though struggled to gain significant success. When the Vault territory opened up, Briggs picked up his son and launched himself at taming the territory with a fervor (or a lack of caution some claim) not seen in many other hunters at the time and managed to secure a sizable chunk of territory (and no minor celebrity for himself). But with success comes sacrifice, as neither father nor son saw much of each other during this long ten year stretch. Their relationship cooled significantly, and while it never froze over completely, Chami feels that his choice to enroll at Lustre was more a matter of making his dad notice him at all, rather than making him proud.
