Phil has rather pale skin and always has to the point where that's an easy identifier for people. Ask someone to describe Phil and the first thing out of their mouths will be a comment about her skin color. The next might be about her clashing, vibrant hair. To contrast with the pale complexions of her skin, Phil took to coloring her hair bright, noticeable colors just to get people to stop staring at her like some sort of oddity because she didn't frequent tanning salons. Her hair is more often than not a bright blue. Boo Berry indeed. Phil's rather slender and rather short at 5'4" with thin arms and legs and no real presence of a shapely figure. Doing her no favors in that regard, Phil frequently wears baggy clothing, shirts in too-large sizes, sweatshirts, the like. Phil is a petite person in practically every sense of the word, never one to wear trendy outfits and often clashing her colors on purpose, a sort of silent protest to the pointless world of couture. Her eyes are normally blue but she wears colored violet lenses just because she likes the color and it goes well enough with her persona in general. There's a noticeable burn mark on her left arm around but talking about it tends to get no response from Phil. Disguised often as her sniffing and rubbing her hand under the nostrils. -Eats most meals alarmingly quickly, save for breakfast. -Cannot take a compliment as she believes anyone complimenting her is doing so in jest. -Rather than taking notes in class, Phil has a tendency to simple doodle on the paper. But just because she is quiet doesn't mean she is soft spoken and in fact when she speaks it's never with mixed words. While not exactly blunt to the point of sounding like an asshole, Phil will point out the flaws and problems whenever someone comes up with ideas or plans or tells stories or things of that nature. Phil is a great listener which in turn makes her great at reading people and cutting through the haze of bullshit people, herself included, spout on a regular basis. Because of her often reasonable responses to grandiose statements, people come to Phil for advice which she never feels quite qualified enough to give but does so anyway. She gives an air of 'leave me the hell alone' but old habits being what they are, Phil relishes any opportunity to engage in conversation with people who haven't made up their mind about her from a simple glance. On that same trail, Phil doesn't trust people unless she has truly gotten to know them. She holds everyone at an arm's length and then some so that neither party will be able to disappoint the other. Other than her 'sage' advice and her habit of calling people out, Phil doesn't often interact with people on her own, preferring they come to her. Phil is not a proactive sort of person. She lets things play out naturally rather than try to influence them or stack the odds in her favor. Even when someone catches her eye and people encourage her to go over and say something, Phil shrugs her shoulders and waits; should nothing happen Phil simply states that some things just don't work out. While not exactly pessimistic, to call her an optimist would be woefully incorrect. Of course, while not exactly the life of any given party, Phil is social enough, at least when she's sober. Most people who see Phil outside of school, be it at social gatherings or out in the wild, assume (often correctly) that she's not entirely...present. Phil during school hours does her best to hide the clear signs of some sort of addiction but it's gotten worse before it's gotten better. No one's quite sure what it is she's clearly on but whenever she IS on it the quiet, sage-like Phil ceases to exist, replaced fully by someone who might as well be speaking a different language.

D E F I N I N G M Y P A S T
History:
Phil's home life was rather uneventful, what with her father being in construction and her mother working in a bakery. They lived in a modest ranch home and things were simple. Philomena was a quiet girl in elementary school, the one that only spoke when the teacher called on her and who spent recess hanging out by the wall until the bell rang and it was time to go back inside. She did have friends that she spoke with before and after school, but they were in different classes and never got to hang out much during school hours. She was a friendly sort, just a bit on the quiet side. School was for school, not socializing. But high school was also when Philomena became 'Phil' to people. Phil entered her freshman year with loud hair and a louder pen and it wasn't long before Phil was known as a budding talent in the art department for her drawing ability. Her parents started showing concern when Philomena was going out more frequently, but they were willing to let Phil live a little so they were willing to let things slide within reason. People knew that when Phil was on the scene that the party was sure to be legendary. And they often were. Phil could always be relied on to do shots of some unknown alcohol combination and to take a hit of some pill. Her sophomore year was like a larger version of her freshman year. She was still hanging out with the artists then and being invited as a tag-along to parties that she wasn't exactly invited to. She had friends. She had fun. She had a problem. Phil's substance abuse became all she cared about, staying out late and waking up in places she only vaguely remembered. Phil fell off the grid shortly into the summer after her sophomore year, to the point where people assumed she had died or moved away. By the end of her sophomore year she had been pretty much blacklisted by the artists of the school due to her bailing on classes and art fair, and of course her absence at the school's art club. Her drawings suffered as well. Entering her junior year, to the shock of many, she appears to have lost the will to draw well any more. And what's with the burn on her arm? Phil's kept quiet on what she'd been doing for the past few months, but inquisitive sorts have started to piece things together.

M I S C .
Extracurricular Activities:
Former member of the Art Club Tries out for Debate Team every year.
Extra:
The Last Thing On My Mind by The Joy Formidable [sub](Maybe don't watch this around mom and dad?)[/sub]
Anything Else:
She lives with her grandparents. Regardless of one's opinions on her family, Hana knows and acts like she is a looker - and for many people she knows in person she certainly is. Unlike others whose pride and self worth start and end with how they look, Hana mainly cares about her appearance in order to hide in plain sight. She's not a cheerleader or one of the so-called royalty but she still would rather look good than slovenly. Her hair is kept at a medium length and always catching the light in such a way as to shine, and it's more difficult than one might realize to make black hair shine, but Hana finds a way even if that means less time in the bathrooms for the family. Since wearing designer clothing and dresses is a bit expensive (and since Hana doesn't have plans to reveal how she can afford them on 'minimum wage popcorn scooping'), Hana tends to go for more casual but still cute enough to catch the eye; skirts that might be a tad too short for the high school dress code, the shirts that don't have sleeves, the shoes. Sometimes she'll wear jeans that really show off her butt but never will she wear shorts as skirts just look and feel better. During the season Hana sometimes wears her uniform pants just to get people interested in the game; it's not just the boy's sports that needs support. Functional, but flirtatious all the same. Her skin is porcelain and she frequently wears lipstick to draw attention to her face, and considering she stands at just shy of five foot five, often that attention is aimed downwards from those taller than her. She's glad that in recent years she's really started to fill out those curves, which in her eyes only adds to the appeal that should have already been there. Hana does hate the birthmark on her arm, though, it just...it looks weird and she hates when people try and make it sound cute. Her one bit of expensive accessory is a handbag that cost damn near four figures, but Hana passed it off by saying she saved up allowances and paychecks. She's got a smile that is damn near infectious, a stride that exudes confidence, and a rapport with pretty much everyone she interacts with. And while that much is true on the surface, there's a little saying about wolves in sheep's clothing. Hana has a way of wrapping people around her finger because she knows what people want, what they need, and how to give it to them. It's a matter of supply and demand, she's the one to look up when it comes to supplies. Her part is played well, but the face she presents to her peers is a mask that is increasingly hard to hide behind. Hana is a bit arrogant at times, that much is true, but she's able to back up her talk with results. She might tell someone their answer is wrong or their idea is shit but when challenged she'll accept and come back swinging. Hana's rather competitive, always having to be right even if it means refusing to admit wrong doing, and losing is never an option. She got that from her sister, whom she idolized for much of her youth. But her arrogance extends mainly to the field, where she feels it's okay to feel arrogant and rude since everyone shakes hands at the end anyway. If there's one thing Hana cannot abide by it's people that have no chill when it comes to her distribution amongst the students. It's really only a surprise to the freshman since most of the students know that 'Pizza Man' is who you ask for if one needs something a bit heavier than simple bags of 'herbs', but people that are so obvious in their dealings and risk everything gets Hana furious. Among her fellow jocks and team mates, Hana's seen as a rallying force. As the Ace of the Softball team, meaning the pitcher, as well as the newly appointed Captain, she's looked up to with respect and expectations and meeting them inbetween all the other goings-on in her life provides no small amount of stress. She's never indulged in her own product but she cannot say the temptation doesn't exist. Hana's charms come not from the subtle gestures or the too-perfect pick up lines, but from her way with people. She treats everyone with a varying amount of like, and that makes her likable to the right crowd of people. While less outright gossipy as some of her friends and allies, Hana is no less devious and judgy, but hers is far more subtle. Getting to know people in the way that she does leaves her privy to a lot of secrets that are better left in her head or on the backburner for a rainy day. Because of this, Hana finds it best not to trust anyone other than herself. People are liars. She's one of them. But at least she'll never lie to herself.

D E F I N I N G M Y P A S T
History:
Even among the socialites and would-be's in the Hills, it's hard not to hear about the Park Family. The patriarch, Lee, is a staple of the community, having turned a rundown eatery into something profitable by using freshly grown ingredients and family recipes to create what publications (and even Yelp) have called "the best Korean dining in the state". 'Kumiho' is a popular spot for those looking for high quality Korean cuisine. The matriarch, Tiffany, does work as hair stylist, once upon a time even working with wealthy and famous but now simply working at a beauty shop for vapid spoiled sorts.. But it's the Park Children that the community is far less willing to talk about. There's the oldest, brother Ken, who dropped out of high school and spends his days getting high with his burnout buddies and thinking they're going to become the next big rap sensation. There's the older sister Abby who was expelled from high school for fighting bullies for the bullied thus being a bully herself, though she's since turned herself around by getting her GED and joining the police; now Abby maintains a friendly rapport with the district, showing up at events and priding herself on transparency, a way of making up for her troubled youth. There's the youngest, Jeremy, who is only in first grade but has a real shot at being the good Park. But of course, there's Hana. On the surface there's nothing truly outrageous about her, not on the level of her two older siblings anyway. Sure she dresses rather...provocatively but she hasn't done anything that her parents vehemently disapprove of. That they are aware of, anyway. Hana's childhood was spent idolizing her cool older sister, Abby, up until Abby started coming home bloody and angry after fighting some asshole or another. Abby became less cool to the young Hana and more...crazy; it only takes one instance of your idol coming into your shared bedroom covered in blood for an opinion to change. It was at this time, with Hana in middle school, that she came to the conclusion that people are never quite who you think they are; and that has applied to Hana as well. Hana's popularity in high school has nothing to do with her looks, though they certainly don't hurt, and everything to do with why they call her Pizza Man. Having a brother that is involved in shady practices and a sister in the police gives Hana access to a variety of...party favors for her classmates. There's always some problem in public high schools, and in the case of Beverly Hills High if students want to use, Hana will provide for a price. Why? At first it was a way to buy something that her allowance wouldn't cover, but she grew addicted to the popularity and status it came with, and she got to keep the moral high ground by never using herself. She could judge others for their vices while staying clean. Of course, that she's the captain of the softball team and a presence on the tennis team absolutely helps her case when it comes to popularity and acceptance from her peers and the staff. Hana presents herself as a student that BHHS can be proud of, athletic, passing grades, friendly enough, but it's always the sweetest smelling roses that have the sharpest barbs. Hana idolized her so much as a child and still does, although it took some doing for Abby to get back in Hana's good graces. Abby was expelled from BHHS after getting into far too many fights. She believed herself to be doing the right thing, fighting bullies, but didn't realize how it made her a bully as well. Presently, Hana lives with Abby in Abby's apartment because she'd rather live there than have to deal with younger brother Jeremy's shit. That's not literal anymore. Abby was the favorite until Hana came along, then Hana was the favorite until Jeremy came along. Ken Park, older brother. He still has hopes to one day break out in the rap game, but until that day comes he's just freestyling and using. In exchange for supplying Hana with pills and other substances, he gets a cut of the profits. Hana constantly shortchanges him because Ken doesn't understand percentages.
