Perhaps there could be a different way for us to interact that doesn't involve having to ask nearly every single person if they want to play, and then winding up as a half dozen different small groups that slowly dwindle away as they realize that they'll never be able to enter into other neighboring plot lines until said plot lines have concluded, which can take many months, thus bringing about the meta-apocalypse.
