Seeing Clementine he smiled as he always did and wandered over to her. She looked cute, maybe a bit intense, but that didn't worry Christian; he had dealt with all types while being a tour guide. Clementine perking a brow slightly as his over exaggerated bow and smile that seemed to be there for no reason at all. His hair seemed to have a life of its own and she had to wonder if he did that on purpose, if he tried to do anything with it, or if he just didn't care and let it do that. "Evenin' Lass! Names Christian, looks like we're supposed to get to know each other," he said in a cheerful voice as he held his hand out to hers. She took it and shook it lightly before leaning back in her seat once again and taking a sip of her wine. Christian, still smiling, pulled up his chair and had a quick seat with a bit of a plop. "Yeah, looks that way," she said as she lowered the glass from her lips and set it down on the table. "I'm Clementine and do you always look like you have been sucking down the laughing gas?" she asked as he just sat there smiling, always smiling. There was nothing to smile about right then, why was he? "Hey, I'm just a happy fellow," he laughed a bit, not really taking her comment to mean anything. He smiled, a lot. Always had and she wasn't the first to ask why. "Natural happy, or are you just medicated to hell and back?" Clementine inquired as she perked a brow. No smile coming to her lips. His smile was creeping her out a bit. It wasn't that she didn't like people that smiled, she smiled. Yet, there was something about people that smiled too much that rubbed her the wrong way. It just wasn't natural to her to wear one plastered on your face at all times; like they fell victim to that old threat of a mothers when she would say if you keep doing that with your face it will get stuck like that. People like Rachael Ray; no one should be that happy without meds. "Naturally, I just enjoy myself," he said, still smiling. Clementine gave him a look that could only be read as you have to be nuts. Leaning forward he kept smiling at her. "Aww Lass, why so serious!" "Oh I don't know. Wars, poverty, idiots, wild fires tearing up the coast, earthquakes making nuclear reactors collapse, planes vanishing out of the sky, homeless on the streets, kids dying from overdoses, veterans offing themselves," she said just to name a few to start and then went into a goof five minutes of other reasons to be serious. "Well aren't you just a ray of sunshine," he said, actually still smiling but granted it wasn't as bright as it had been. "Come on, just one thing to smile about?" Clementine after a moment actually did smile as she rose form her chair. "I have one, I have to go to the bathroom and I am betting the bell rings right about the time I get back," she said smirking a bit before walking off. Christian sat there looking confused as hell before laughing to himself, that was a first. "Damn, some people just want to watch the date burn." Clementine didn't lie, she walked back into the room as the bell rang and sat down giving Christian a little wave before he walked off. That date had gone down in flames.
