In addition to this, the Praetor Suit also has a complex visor and internal systems which allows Doomguy to travel to Hell and return again unharmed. The suit is described as being made from nearly impenetrable material, which is especially useful against even the harshest of environments, and may be responsible for what appears to be the Doom Marine's superhuman abilities.
Various Weapons: Doom Slayer’s knowledge in weapons makes him capable of using them to their maximum proficiency. From small armed pistols, to the heavy launchers, there is almost no weapon that he can’t master. Below, are just some of the weapons he’s known to use, with what is labeled below to be what he has currently:

Plasma Pistol: This weapon fires an unlimited amount of energy beams, and can be charged up for more damage, however it’s otherwise very weak. Used only if all other weapons have ran out of ammo or in a quick pinch.
Combat Shotgun: This weapon is a staple of Doom’s arsenal and is often seen carried by him. It can be modified to make it issue a Charged Shot (a three-round burst with a tighter spread) or an Explosive Shot (an explosive shot with splash damage).
Heavy Assault Rifle: This belt-fed machine gun uses .50 caliber FMJ rounds to completely rittle the opponent to pieces. It can also be modified to fire micro-missiles and/or have a Tactical Scope (allows the user to zoom in on unsuspecting targets).
Chainsaw: This is used as Doom’s primary melee weapon, in which it can slice through most enemies like butter.
Frag Grenade: A simple Fragment Grenade, able to do decent damage against enemies.
Medical Kits: Doom always has several med-kits onboard with him, in case he needs to heal himself in the field of battle. They can either replenish between 25% to 75% of his health. He can have up to 4 med-kits stored per battle.

Abilities:

Enhanced Durability: Doom is extremely durable, trained well beyond the limits of a regular human. He is able to fall from incredible heights usually without getting hurt, up to 40 stories high, and take brutal punishment from almost any type of weather condition imaginable, including when under fire, though he can still be hurt enough if the firepower is too intense.
Enhanced Stamina: Doom can run for several miles without breaking a sweat, while also being twice as fast than a regular human. He can also carry a large supply of rockets and other ammunition without being weighed down.
Enhanced Strength: Doom’s strength has him able to rip and tear his enemies apart with his own bare hands, thanks to the Praetor suit.
Weakness and Limitations: Doom is simply a mortal man and can be killed by almost any means. While his armor can protect him from more weaker blasts, it can only hold up to so much, such as lava and acid can still kill him. He also has to rest if he runs out of stamina, and also can hold a limited amount of ammo. He can regain ammo by simply killing his opponents (usually NPCs) or finding extra boxes on the ground. Personality: Doom is a rather... angry individual. Despite being a near-silent individual, he is a man of action, rather than words. His anger also rages immensely, tolerating no bullshit that gets spat in his face, even to the point where he can simply ignore some commands due to his own agenda. This also leads to his brutal nature upon slaughtering his enemies, by ripping limbs and basically issuing quite gory deaths. In fact, when it especially comes to murdering demons, Doom simply enjoys it, and becomes even more so when wielding any new and powerful weapons he can get his hands on. Of course, he can also listen to some, if he thinks it's worth it. So all in all, Doom is simply a badass, with the kickassery to help him get through with the world. Is he evil? Not necessarily. Think of a 'good guy in a bad situation'. Backstory:
(Lore from the new DOOM 2016 reboot) - Known by many names, Doom's origins are shrouded in mystery. However, it has first been identified living somewhere in hell, with the same armor he uses to this, fighting off demons from all over hell. He is feared by the demons living throughout Hell, with his identity as either being human, a god, or a demon a bit of a mystery. It is actually believed the Doom Marine might have been part of an ancient group or tribe, maybe even their leader. Furthermore, the Doom Marine is shown to be somehow connected to an order of "knights" of the Argent D'Nur world, called the Night Sentinels in-game. While the Doom Marine has their symbol on his armor, his armor itself is far different, having a futuristic and military look, whereas the knights have armor closely resembling that of medieval European civilization. The texts also say that the demons have been plagued by him for "eons of time", during which he would have became a legend in their world. Regardless, it has been said that the only way that he was stopped, was by simply trapping Doom and putting him in a stone tomb, which he was never to be released. However, a corporation going by the Union Aerospace Corporation (UAC), lead by Doctor Samuel Hayden, had discovered the tomb as they explored hell, ultimately taking him back to their base on Mars. There he was taken to be "held captive" and studied, until hell invades the base, which then he escapes and arms himself with a pistol, and his Praetor Suit. There he was "forced" to help Samuel Hayden in taking back the base, closing the hell portal, and stopping the mastermind of the operation, Olvia Pierce. While on that mission, he gained new weapons, gear, and even power-ups along the way. He even had to travel back and forth from Hell and back three times, eventually killing Oliva Pierce in her monstrous Spider Mastermind form. When Doom got back to the UAC base, Dr. Hayden proceeds to tell the captive marine that they have won, but at a cost of the entire UAC operation. He then reveals he has been watching, and has determined their motivations differ, in that the Doom Slayer believes Hell must be destroyed entirely, and while Samuel admits the possibility this is true, he believes humanity needs Argent energy, a powerful energy source only found in Hell, which Doom ultimately destroyed during the mission. Hayden then steals the Crucible, which wields mysterious control over the Argent energy, by somehow pulling it through the air into his hand, stating that with it, he can continue his work. The Crucible then turns into a red energy blade inscribed with runes, and Hayden states that while he cannot kill the marine, he would neither allow him to stand in his way, and uses the dimensional tether to teleport the Doom Slayer to an unknown location... And that location... was here in this virtual reality game. Of course, he doesn't know this. Now incredibly pissed off with a vengeance, he sets off to find a way back to the Mars base of his own universe, and get revenge on Samuel Hayden for such the betrayal.... Individually, their names are Prelude, Minuet, Toccata and Nocturne. Whilst useful as standard melee weapons, they can also summon Wicked Weaves and use the Umbran Climax, a secret skill that unleashes Bayonetta's saved-up magic energy to give her enhanced powers.
修羅刃 -Shuraba-: A living demonic katana, Shuraba's attacks are quick sweeping strikes and jabs which excel against small and agile enemies. With its mix of great attack speed, melee range, sweeping strikes, and extremely powerful Wicked Weaves, Shuraba is very effective in most fights against all types of enemies.
Abilities:

Superhuman Abilities: Bayonetta has superhuman speed and agility, being able to perform numerous acrobatic feats with ease. She also appears to be extremely perceptive, able to evade attacks from all directions through anticipating her enemy movements in battle. She possesses a good deal of superhuman strength and endurance, shown on numerous occasions when she is able to manipulate heavier objects up to the size of a car and also spring back up to fight whenever she is hurt.
Bullet Arts: Bayonetta masters the Bullet Arts, a fighting style utilized by the Umbra Witches which uses a combination of melee attacks and gunfire, particularly from guns used on both hands and feet, while wielding her guns, Love Is Blue. It allows her to execute strings of fast paced moves as well as combine them with the use of Wicked Weaves. It also allows her to become efficient at any weapon she happens to come across using the same configuration of hands and feet, explaining Bayonetta's efficiency in being able to execute various attacks with different weapons as well as utilize the Angel Arms she can pick up.
[s]Wicked Weaves: Wicked Weaves are a type of attack that can be executed by powerful Umbra Witches to summon forth Infernal Demons by using their hair as a conduit. Bayonetta's Wicked Weaves usually summon the massive limbs of Madama Butterfly, the demoness she has made a pact with. It also has a more powerful variant named Infernal Weaves that appear when Bayonetta has powered up into Umbran Climax. In addition to using normal Wicked Weaves for every attack, the end of combos cause Infernal Weaves to fully manifest the Infernal Demons for extreme damage in a large area-of-effect.[/s]
[s]Umbran Climax: Umbran Climax is a Technique that allows every attack performed to be powered up and strengthened for a short duration. When used, the witch glows a distinct purple color and Bayonetta's hair becomes long and flowing with a silver chain pattern laced into it. The strength of Bayonetta's attacks are increased as well as her overall range and area-of-effect thanks to the Wicked Weaves which are called forth with every attack. Each combo also ends with an Infernal Weave, an ability that calls forth an Infernal Demon to release an devastating final attack. If she is not at maximum vitality, activating Umbran Climax will slowly regenerate her health for the entire time it is activated. The demons summoned during Umbran Climax are dependent on which weapons are currently equipped and different combinations create different results depending on the combo and whether the weapon is on hands or feet.[/s]
[s]Witch Time: Witch Time is the name of an ancient art used by powerful Umbra Witches, which speeds up their agility and speed, allowing the user to bypass their opponent's defenses and execute combinations of attacks and other feats that would otherwise be impossible. (Unlike the one used in the games, think of it as Flash Step from Bleach).[/s]
[s]Infernal Demons: The Infernal Demons, also known as Infernals, are the supernatural inhabitants of Inferno that can be summoned by the Umbra Witches as part of their role of maintaining the darkness. These demons bestow witches with great power and wisdom and are mainly used to fight and hunt down the angels. However, this power comes at a high price. If a witch does not sacrifice angels every day or she dies/is killed, she is forced to fulfill the contract to the demon she made a pact with and her soul is dragged down to Inferno for the eternity. Bayonetta has many of said demons.[/s]
[s]Beast Within: Beast Within is a series of transformational techniques that Bayonetta can use that allows her to transform into an animal form and unlock mysterious magical powers. This technique is used by both the Umbra Witches and the Lumen Sages. Bayonetta can transform into a panther, a crow, a bat, or a snake.[/s]
Weaknesses and Limitations: Normally, Bayonetta weakness is basically the fact that if she doesn't sacrifice angels every day or she dies/is killed, she is forced to fulfill the contract to the demon she made a pact with and her soul is dragged down to Inferno for the eternity. However, with most of her powers mysteriously disappearing after being transferred to this universe, she is basically mortal for the most part. While her agility, skills, durability, and strength still remain with her, the powers she gained from Inferno and Madama Butterfly is currently unavailable. Despite the demons being gone however, perhaps she can find a way to make a pact with other demons... if they are able to oblique and may eventually find her old demons down the road. Personality: Bayonetta is a character whose approach to her deal with Inferno and her current situation, is one of casual disregard. Often treating her weapons as mere tools to get the job done, save for her favorite set of guns, she appears to enjoy her situation as a way to vent her hidden sadistic nature. She rather enjoys fighting angels and other "holy" opponents in a playful yet brutal manner and she maintains her cool even when up against powerful opponents. Bayonetta tends to operate alone and prefers to do things by herself if going on a mission or adventure, and not get encumbered by other people. However, granted if it happens to be her friend Jeanne or anyone she either knows or considers worthy, she may accept them to work alongside her, granted she "tests" their might and abilities. She can also be construed as somewhat impatient, especially towards the more "talkative type" of enemy. Backstory: Bayonetta is the eponymous main character and protagonist of the Bayonetta series. She is a coquettish and mysterious Umbra Witch, who possesses a remarkable talent for the Bullet Arts and is the bearer of the Left Eye, that oversees the darkness. Bayonetta was born Cereza who was the child of a forbidden romance between the Umbra Witch Rosa and the Lumen Sage Father Balder on December 19th, 1411 at the city of Vigrid. At some point, the Left Eye of the Eyes of the World were placed within Bayonetta for safe keeping by the clan. In her childhood, she used to play with a fellow witch by the name of Jeanne who was later selected to become the heiress of the clan. Thus, the Umbran Elder asked her to select an opponent to which Jeanne chose Bayonetta despite this breaking Umbran law. During their fight, Jeanne was defeated by Bayonetta though afterwards a full scale war erupted between the Umbran Witches and Lumen Sages where the two fought side by side against their enemies. Ultimately, the war was won by the Witches but Humans grew fearful of their power and began massive witch hunts that eliminated the clan that left only Jeanne as well as Bayonetta as its survivors. Jeanne later grew fearful that her clans treasure namely the Left Eye would fall into the hands of the Sages and Laguna which led to hear sealing Bayonetta within a lake for 500 years. She remained in this slumber within the coffin at the bottom of the lake for centuries until March 3rd, 1977, where she was found and later fled to roam the world. This leads to the first game, for after being in the 500 year slumber in a coffin submerged at the bottom of a lake, Bayonetta battled against the angelic hordes of Paradiso in order to discover the truth about her past and what she had forgotten during her sleep. In the sequel, Bayonetta fought to rescue Jeanne, her clan sister who was taken to the realm of Inferno. With the help of Rodin, her demonic weaponsmith and proprietor of The Gates of Hell bar, she is hounded endlessly by hosts of angels along the way, as well as preventing the coming of a new threat, Aesir, the God of Chaos. After these events however, a glitch in the fabric of her universe ultimately pulled her into another universe, this being the universe currently. However, she happened to loose most of her powers, save for the exception of her Bullet Arts and most of her superhuman abilities. While she is unable to summon Infernal Demons into battle, on the bright side, at least she isn't forced to kill Angels everyday so she can stay alive. Now she tries to not only find a way out of this place, but also to regain her lost powers as well... by any means necessary of course.
