Prince, when you get the chance, could you explain why you're favoring just one character per player rather than two? I feel like you must have said already, but either I forgot or I missed it. In my eyes, having two characters opens up more options for each player to take if they so desire, while they need not do two if they'd rather do just one. It could be more fun, further interaction with other players' characters, and possibly give a player an option to play with themselves if they feel like it would be beneficial. I say this because in a previous multiversal RP I was in, the hero characters started in one place and the villains in another, not permanently divided but guaranteed some time with people in their own way of thinking. Being able to have two characters made it possible for people to have one in each camp and explore each side of the coin. Of course, I have no idea what you're planning with the RP, so this may not be at all necessary, but I thought I'd bring it up. If you're on the fence about this topic and are thinking of putting it to a vote, mine is certainly cast for a two-character cap.
I believe you remember the Phoenix Wing RP. Don't know if you are still apart of it but when I was there it was chaotic. How many characters did some of the players control? Eight, nine, entire guilds. That was what I was attempting to avoid. Until I had a better grasp of how many players we were likely to average I figured that keeping it to one character per player was safest. As it is now with us having somewhere around a dozen players give or take I think it is reasonable to let everyone choose a second character. Wonder what mine will be... maybe, Navi :)
[@Lugubrious] I agree. This can also mean I can either have that Bayonetta I was talking about having to get back her powers, or some kind of villain character.
Or Bayonetta becoming a villain in the pursuit of her lost powers. I'll get to everyone's characters when I have more time. [@James Marshall] Welcome aboard.
