Mary had felt bad that she said no. This guy seemed to like her, but she wasn't sure. A small sigh escaped as he then told her to think about it once more and implied that this was an offer she didn't want to miss. She raised an eyebrow when he said he'd bet money on her coming around and actually going with him to the dance and dating him. "Oh, so I'm just a bet to you then?" she said with slight anger. She paused as his phone had rang. She sighed when he said he had to leave, so she then grabbed her keys and unlocked the door from where she was at. "There" she said as she popped the trunk so he could get his bike and leave. After he left she then finished the slice of pizza she had on her plate, finished her water and paid for the bill. Mary then made her way to the front entrance and asked for a job application, she filled it out and asked for a manager. "Sorry the manager won't be back until tomorrow" the girl replied to her, "Alright I'll come back then" Mary responded and headed out the door and into her Subaru to head home for the day.
