Pouting at Tesh's response, she was caught completely by surprise when the net went up. Abigail needed a moment to absorb what had happened. Quill had been right there, and it seemed like the Sneasel had disappeared for a moment. Following the others' gazes, Abigail stared up at the net. It seemed really high up. It was like twice Abigail's height, if not more, between it and the ground. The Sneasel's claws didn't seem to work on it either, which was pretty strange.

Her eyes widened as the guy emerged from the trees. Was he the one that put it there? Then he had to be a bad guy! Wait, she wasn't ready for this! She'd barely ever left Redorchard, and... Was that a knife?! Abigail wasn't having the best time with this, and had gone a bit pale. She was ready to deal with wild Pokemon and everything, but she didn't like the idea of getting stabbed very much. She found herself snapping out of it a little when Lynn started advancing on the guy. [color=f7941d]"H-hey, shouldn't we, like, talk about this or something? I'm sure it's just a [i]huge[/i] misunderstanding, right guys?"[/color]

Of course, when Lynn actually spoke , Abigail had a feeling that talking it out had been thrown out of the window. She got it, and she knew she'd sure be mad if someone messed with her starter Pokemon, but the guy had a knife! What if Lynn got herself hurt? Abigail thought about sending out Waffles, but the man was clearly a bad guy, and if she did anything to make him angry then who knows what he'd do? 

She glanced around the clearing. The net was so high, how were they supposed to get Quill out? ...Wait. She remembered her newest capture - Her brain seemed to have shut down for a minute from the shock of the situation, but if she could get Cookie up there... The guy would see if she did anything, though. At least, while she was with them. For that, though, Abigail had a time-tested strategy. One that had been passed down and refined through generations. The ultimate way to deal with any situation.

Running away really really quickly.

[color=f7941d]"You guys have fun!"[/color] she yelled, and turned tail, disappearing into the trees. Part of it was strategy, but another part of her really wanted to just keep running. She really considered just taking off and leaving them behind, but... She was supposed to be a hero, a Pokemon Master! As much as she wanted to, she couldn't just let them take on the bad guys alone.

Diving through a couple of bushes, she kept going for a little while before stopping, sitting with her back against a tree. She sat for a couple of moments, then started to think of a plan.
