As always you're too kind. The interest in Botan was a spur of the moment inclusion. If he is to eventually fall for her, it has to be for her, not just those soft lips of hers. I think my dialogue at the later part of the post could have been better. By what's true in her heart, he means if the lover explanation was true to her, or just her own interpretation of a school girl's ideal man. That also goes for her idea of a first date. The answer seems obvious to us, but for Kurama it just shows that he has a lot of respect for Botan, both as a reaper and a friend, but he didn't know her enough to be sure of anything she told Shiori and the classmates. It's an eye opener for him. And I do hope that Botan finds it nice to be the center of someone's interest for once ;3 I do look forward to Shiori's shipping moments as we progress. The evening before dinner sounds good. Have them finish up some schoolwork together featuring tutor Kurama, and Botan can take the time to bring up (she forgot because Kurama had asked about her maybe?) that Koenma did mention some very minor demon activity in the area. They have time to investigate the location before dinner, and it could be this encounter that has Botan consider learning more about fighting, since she may have seen herself as a liability both at that moment and earlier at the school? Or she can sleep on it.
