To be exact, she still looks like a seventeen year old girl. However, she has the cold, calculated demeanor of an adult - someone who's been through hell in fact. She always looks like she's haunted by some event, and keeps her head down. She constantly walks around with her head down, and stays in the shadows. People get the impression that there's something wrong with Jennifer given how she's so withdrawn, and her demeanor makes it a bit hard to get a read on her. Despite the fact that people generally get the idea that Jen is just another "pretty young girl." She has the appearance of a "nerd girl." It's probably due to her glasses, mixed with her rather mousy facial features, and petite frame. She looks almost sophisticated. Jennifer's most eye-catching feature is her head of straight light-blonde hair. Styled into a neck-length pony-tail. And her bright blue eyes. It used to be messy, straight hair, but she restyled it to match how it used to be several years ago. And it used to be brown for a period of time. Unlike most examples, puberty was generous for Jennifer. She was blessed with a curvy frame, that's oddly thin. Due to her power, and a lack of a proper nutrition for a few years, Jennifer was oddly bony. She was skin and bones, and almost like an anorexic. Fortunately, a few months of getting back to normal helped the girl become healthy. Her chest is a 38C, while her behind is pretty round for a white girl. Jennifer is Caucasian, with plenty of Europeans countries in her roots. So many that she barely can count all of them. She does know for sure that her mother is Polish, while her father is Norwegian and Swedish. Jennifer's skin is a beige color, and due to her power, she doesn't have a single mark on her. She's clear as a baby. Jennifer has heart-shaped facial features, and a medium sized head. Her most pronounced facial feature would have to be her chin. She has a pointy chin that extends the lower part of her face downwards a inch or two. All while blending seamlessly with her jawline and cheeks. Obviously, she has a strong jaw, and her cheeks are pretty round, they stick out a little bit. Especially when she smiles. Another note-worthy feature is Jenny's large mouth, it's pretty impressively when she opens her mouth up. Surprisingly enough, her lips aren't very large in comparison. Her lips are very thin, and unpronounced. Jennifer's nose is turned upwards with a pointy nose tip, and is medium sized. The nostrils of her nose aren't too large, with a nose bridge that's as thick as her nostrils. Her ears are very round shaped, and medium sized - often enough, they're obscured by her bangs. Jennifer's eyes are round and large, though people don't exactly see how large they are because she keeps them somewhat closed at all times. Jen's eyes are a light-blue color. Usually her eyes are behind a pair of very round glasses. Finally, Jen is stated to have a large forehead. However, her power has given her a few physical mutations. On the freakish side of things, she has two primary physical mutations that she keeps well hidden underneath her clothes. The first mutation is, oddly enough, a prehensile spine. It's exposed to the world, and well prehensile like a monkey's tail. It's located a few inches above her waist, and is easily six feet long - and she can manipulate it using her bone powers. This spine moves quite strangely, like it's a scorpion tail. However, Jennifer keeps this appendage hidden at all times, until it is needed. She usually keeps it wrapped around her waist, tucked into her shorts. All of her limbs are double-jointed, and are capable of bending backwards like she was boneless. This is obvious if one were to look at her limbs very closely. The reason why she doesn't revert these mutations is that it's too energy consuming, and painful. So, she puts up with it.
Attire:
Trying to get back to normal, Jennifer tried to revert back to that clothing style she had awhile ago. She dressed like a hipster, which she tries to replicate now. She wears jeans, and variety of different shirts, and hats that have indie bands on them. Jen also loves to wear jackets, and her favorite kind is a jean jacket, or a hoodie. She'll dress lighter in the summer. She'll wear shorts, and other light pieces of clothing. She wears a T-shirt, with track shorts, more often than not. As for Jewelry, Jenny likes to wear bracelets. Plastic ones, gold painted ones, etc. However, when she isn't feeling like it, she tends to dress much blander, and less stand out. Jennifer, in this mood, dresses like her previous persona of Missy Baroness, and wears a grey, sleeveless, hoodie, and holds her head low. She either wears jeans (or jean shorts), with sneakers.

Personality
Innate & Outward Personality:
A bit reclusive, Jennifer is a woman that has been hardened by tragedy. Formerly, she was a quiet, albeit polite, teenaged girl that had the best interests at heart. After the Verthaven disaster, she has undergone quite the change. She is no longer meek, she is now quiet, and brooding. One that was consumed by hatred for years at a time. Thanks to the efforts of her friends (who have taken the place of her family), she has made an effort to reintegrate with society and let go of her hatred. She just finds it incredibly hard to function in society given those events - but, hell, she's making an effort. While she's quiet, that's only really around people she doesn't know. If someone were to make an effort to befriend her, they'd find out that she's actually pretty polite, and well-spoken, albeit depressed. She talks slowly, in a manner as if she's constantly considering her next word. She's very awkward in conversation with strangers, since, around friends, she's much more comfortable since she doesn't have to worry about making a bad first impression with people. If the conversation gets to such a point, it won't be unheard of for Jennifer to completely up and leave. However, despite how socially awkward Jennifer is, she at least tries. Despite feeling like an outsider, she is still passionate about music, and video games - the latter helps her alleviate her more violent side (more on that later). She'll definitely begin a conversation if it's about media, because she's still a huge nerd at heart. While she's awkward any other time, such conversations are what make Jennifer feel normal. Despite being quiet, she has been quite hardened throughout the years. She won't be the type of person who'd bend forward for another person. Tragedy has taught her that she can't stand by and let horrible things happen. Let horrible people go free. She won't go out and save the day, but she definitely won't stand by and let the weak get oppressed should it come down to it. To a more personal level, Jennifer would return the vitriol if someone starts flinging it first. She won't start anything, but, hell, she'll definitely be the one to finish it. Jennifer is also the type of person that holds a grudge, even if a person apologizes... she'll be slightly less of a dick to them. That hardness gives Jennifer a distinct lack of fear. She's already gone through hell, and it hasn't killed her, so she's not particularly worried about death anymore. She'll charge in head first against a powerful foe without a second thought. Merely because her ability to bounce back has made her reckless. Arrogant even. Her moral-compass is shaky at best. A grey area. On one hand, Jennifer still looks out for other people, and is completely willing to help even strangers if they are in need. Especially against the monsters this universe is populated by. Even if the world hates her, it's one way that makes her human. However, on the other hand, Jennifer is merciless, in-compassionate, and brutal against the various tyrants of this world. She's incredibly violent, and won't hesitate to kill a person when it comes down to it. She isn't the type that goes on rampages over small things... but, if there's someone along the lines of the Changeling Unit, she'll be the first person who goes for their throat. This violent line of thinking spawned from the greatest tragedy of Jennifer's life; the loss of her family at the hands of the Changeling Unit. It has filled her with hatred like no other. A hatred that consumes her. A hatred that she can never seem to get rid of. Even after the demise of the Changeling Unit, she is still angry as ever. A hatred and anger that causes her to lash out at the world. She sometimes feels like she is on the verge of going insane, and a threat to the world. Jennifer is also incredibly violent, as she feels random urges to take that hatred out on the world around her. However, she is retraining herself to the best of her abilities, but sometimes she finds it hard. During her bad days, Jennifer retreats to the shadows to clear her mind. Finds other activities to act out her aggression. At her core, Jennifer feels guilty because she couldn't save her family back then. While it was all out of her hands, she just couldn't help but feel shame for not being strong enough to do anything. She, at times, tortures herself over the thought. However, she keeps this mostly to herself. She tries to improve the future, and live on by her mother's last words (Which was live for them). She couldn't help but look back on that event. Jennifer feels... empty. Cold, and without the love and emotions she so desperately wants. On the other hand, she feels like a burden for her friends who have taken the place of her family. They go through so much for her, and she returns so little. However, she now has the strength to contribute. The strength to make a difference. Jennifer wants to make sure that whatever happened to her never happens to anyone ever again.
Hobbies/Interests:
Jennifer is a youth that's been corrupted by the evil media! Videogames, TV, movies, all of it has forged her into a geek. That said, Jen loves to play videogames, and her eyes are usually glued to a handheld (Or her phone). It's not unusual to see her separating herself from the group in order to play a video game. She also likes TV, comic books, movies, and that stuff. Though, she was never much of a book reader. Other things got her interested like Fantasy, and Scifi media. She also plays plenty of DnD in her spare time. She is an avid listener of techno/electronic music. Her iPod is usually blasting a techno song of her choice. Jen is also pretty fascinated in the world of Metahumans. She keeps up with general news about them.
Skills/Talents:
Observant, quick thinking, and savvy, Jennifer's hardness has certainly made her quite easy to pick up on body languages when a bad guy is rolling around. She also has a very good memory, and attention to detail, which makes her job was a barista much, much, easier. Jennifer has an acute knowledge of media, and it made her very... genre savvy. She's also pretty bitching at videogames - even if she's a little rusty. When she was younger, she was also forced to join her school's basketball team. She was a pretty... subpar, basketball player. However, this helped improve her balance, speed, aim, and coordination. Though, she hasn't played Basketball in years. Other than that, she doesn't particularly have a lot of skills. Apart of her mother's obsession with trying to get Jennifer to be the prodigy she never will be, she has a few skills under her belt. Most of which she forgot because she never cared about them to begin with. Karate, instruments, medical, painting, gardening, cooking, and how to speak other languages. She hasn't practiced them in years, and all but forgotten about them (Other than one or two things that stuck with her). At this point, she doesn't plan on picking them back up.
Goals/Motivation
Jennifer wants to reintegrate back into the life she used to live, and be normal. At any cost, really. However, she also wishes to ensure that what happened to her in Verthaven, never happens to anyone ever again.
History/Bio:

Jennifer was fortunately born very well off. Her parents were two prolific lawyers that were rather ruthless in how they got the job done. This paved way for many of Jennifer's education, as her family had plenty of money to support them. She had a younger sister named Kaitlyn, and two brothers named Justin and Cody. However, both parents had much different ideas on how to raise Jennifer, and the siblings. Jennifer's mother wanted to be strict, and push them to be great, where her father was lax and wanted them to their own people. This caused some rather particular patterns when Jennifer was growing up. In school, Jennifer was pushed by her mother to become a prodigy. Taking classes to play instruments (That Jennifer promptly forgot how to play), taking Advance classes (That she was not ready for), or just other things she could need (She was taught cooking, medical care, gardening, Karate, French and Spanish). Yet, no matter what classes she was placed in, Jennifer just couldn't apply herself towards it. She was just uninterested in it, and couldn't advance. Which is what stopped her from being good as she could be. What did get her attention was the videogames her brother liked so much, and media - specifically fantasy and scifi. This interest was budded by her father who bought her games, and pretty much whatever she wanted. This infuriated her mother to no end - she couldn't focus enough to study in the classes, but she could focus on video games! Her mother started forcing Jennifer to start giving a damn about her education. Taking away the games and whatever else Jenny was interested in. This aggressive tactic didn't work as well as her mother hoped. As this made Jennifer very stressed, and impaired her learning ability even more. She started working hard to desperately please her mother... Until she found another way to please her mother. She cheated. In school, she'd copy the answers from the smart students when she couldn't get them to give her the answers outright. This worked, so far. She couldn't cheat at everything. Eventually, Jenny was caught, and the whole thing was told to her mother. She was very disappointed in her daughter, where her father was a lot more compassionate. He sympathized with Jen, and suggested that her mother eased up on her. Lest she wants her daughter to go crazy. Which is exactly what she did. She took Jennifer out of the classes she didn't want to be in (Which was pretty much all of them), and gave Jennifer back the games she liked so much. While she was much more lax on Jennifer, she didn't completely stop. She expected Jennifer to get the highest grades. Not accepting a single F. Which is what Jennifer could handle much better. She got the A's her mother expected. Even when she shouldn't have. In the mean time, Jennifer indulged in whatever nerdy behavior she wanted. Playing video games, participating in DnD, watching movies, and etc. Though, she was relatively unknown in school outside of the nerd groups. Jen did pick up a certain habit while in highschool. Her parents demanded that she stays slim, because no one wants a fat child. They made her sign up for the highschool's female basketball team. While she didn't like it at first, she warmed up to it. Though, she was never a star player. Summer break hit, and Jennifer was happy to just give herself some time to relax. Though, life didn't go smoothly. Her father went out to go drinking with some old friends to catch up with them. After the night of drinking, he choose not to drink responsibility, and choose to drive. He crashed into a wall at such a high-speed that he died near instantly. When the news hit her family, it hit them hard. Her mother fell into a deep depression, and her siblings tried to keep going. But the grief forced them towards some more bad habits. Jenny was immensely saddened by the death of her father - but she had no choice but to keep moving forward (Sort of). She had no other way to coop other than push the world a bit further away, and continue doing what she was doing. For months, this worked, and life continued very uneventfully. Shit hit the fan one fateful night. She was walking home from her friend's house (Accompanied by her dog), when she noticed a little girl sobbing in an alleyway. Jen approached the girl, and a very quick and frantic conversation; it was revealed that the girl's name is Penny, and she's a Metahuman that was attacked by the Pure. The first thing Jenny did was get the girl to calm down. She tried to call the cops - but she stopped when she heard some people walking up. Jenny told the girl to run - Penny said that she was going to hide under the nearby bridge. When they walked by, Jen simply looking like she was picking up her dog's droppings. Acting like she had nothing to do with it. They stopped and asked if she saw anyone who looked like Penny. Obviously, Jen said no. That's when they surrounded her, and started calling her all manner of names. Traitor, freak lover, and they even accused her of being a meta. Though, before things got violent, they relented - noting that their job isn't to bother humans, and the person they were after could be getting away. They left, smacking Jennifer's phone onto the ground. Jen immediately left to go find the girl - unaware that one member of the Pure had followed her. Jenny checked under the bridge like Penny said, and found her. She assured the girl that the coast was clear - until that member of the Pure came out of the shadows, and took several shots towards Penny with a pistol. Fortunately, he missed... Penny, that is. The bullets hit the larger target, which was Jennifer. A bullet hit her in the stomach, in the arm, in her sides, and two hit her in the shoulder. Jenny hit the ground, and started bleeding out, while Penny ran off, and the member of the Pure ran off after her. It wasn't long before Jen passed out. A few minutes later, Penny lost the member of the Pure and came back to Jen. Watching her bleed out profusely - because of her - didn't bode too well with the child. Penny panicked, but she knew that she was capable of saving her. She walked up, and placed her hands on Jen's dying body. She used the power that made the Pure want to kill her so badly. The ability to gift physical enhancements to anyone she touches. Penny gave Jen the strongest regenerative ability she could in order to save Jen's life. Almost immediately, the healing factor kicked in and began correcting the damage done to her. With that, Penny ran off, hoping that the Pure wouldn't catch Jen. They didn't (For plot convenience). It wasn't long until the bleeding stopped. And it wasn't even that longer before wounds were completely closed up. A few hours later, Jen had awoken in a hospital room surrounded by her mother and some police officerrs, with the wounds completely healed. She had no idea what happened, and she had said her prayers. She checked, and there was not even a scar. For a moment, she wondered if it actually happened. The police explained that she was found unconscious underneath a bridge while they were investigating gunshots. Jennifer explained to them that she was helping someone getting attacked by the Pure, and she was knocked out. They swallowed her story, and she came in contact with NEST and explained what happened with Penny. Her entire family was relieved, but told her not to get involved in such things again. The next couple days went on normally... until Jennifer got a paper cut. Expecting to feel pain for awhile, the wound almost instantly closed. This surprised her enough to try again, the same thing happened. Jen walked into the bathroom, with a knife, and cut the top part of her hand. The wound was gone in a few minutes. This surprised her - and it didn't take too long for her to put two-and-two together and realize that her powers manifesting had saved her life that night. Jennifer reached into her pocket and pulled out the note... Maybe Penny has something to do with this. There was only one way to find out, really. Jennifer decided to find this Penny girl on her own. Disguising her mission as a quest to find her dog (Also an objective!). Over the course of a few days, she started asking around, looking for Penny. So far, with no success. However, she spent more time with her friends, making new ones in the process, rather than finding Penny. She attributed it to the Black Fall Effect... but, she loved it. She loved the new friendships and bonds she was forming with the young Metahumans of Verthaven. It made her feel great, despite all of the shit she went through. Though, it didn't last that long. She was kidnapped by the Hands of Science with her friends, and, fortunately, managed to escape due to their help. Only going through a few horrible injuries in the process! After being kidnapped by the Hands of Science, Jennifer found out the truth about her power, and decided to stay in her house with Penny. Hoping that nothing attacks her.

She remained in her home for a few months, no amount of Black Fall Effect could convince her to leave. Until the Verthaven Disaster happened, and she was forced to leave, because a monster attacked her household, and she fled in fear - separated from her family. From there, she ran into two VPD officers, and was attacked by another beast. She was fortunate enough to get away from the monster, but it wasn't long before she was launched into a river. Fortunately, her best friend, Meifeng Zhao, was in the area, and managed to save her from drowning to death. From there, Jennifer was brought to the NEST safe zone. She reunited with her friends, up until the eventual evacuation of Verthaven... which didn't go too well due to the fact that the Changeling Unit sabotaged it, and she was impaled. Once again, Jennifer had to be saved by her friends, and they managed to get her aboard an APC. However, during the final push out of Verthaven the Shield of Light was activated. That was the start of Jennifer's troubles. The villainous Changeling Unit laid their eyes upon her, taking advantage of one weakness she's forgotten: her family. They kidnapped her family, and eventually kidnapped her as well in order to get her to betray her friends. Since she had some mighty connections. Just to coerce her to play along even further, they had the Mannequin surgically implant a bomb deep inside of her. With no choice, Jennifer had to betray her friends in order to keep them alive. Luis and the Changeling Unit used her to deduce a great time to attack, in order to liberate Heartbreaker. She told them to attack when most of the heavy hitters in NEST tried to track the Devil down. When the Changeling Unit launched their attack, they knocked down the walls that were set up, and killed a great deal of innocent people - along with letting in a horde of monsters. Jennifer felt guilt like no other because she was the reason why this bloodbath went on. Dodging both monsters, and the Changeling Unit, Jennifer eventually came across information on where Heartbreaker was being stored. She, begrudgingly, told Luis where she was, and he managed to liberate Heartbreaker. This was the point where everyone was getting suspicious of her. During the next operation, she was immediately kicked out of briefing, and was almost taken to the doctors office. Where she was intercepted by a friend. However, she managed to catch the attention of the Changeling Unit, and both were captured when they raided their Headquarters. She was told of Luis' insane plan: his bid for Godhood. Before they were used as hostages to stop NEST from killing the Devil too early. A battle occurred, and eventually Jennifer had the bomb painfully extracted from her by Lihua Zhao. Now that she was free of the Changeling Unit's bomb, she left the battle. However, by the time she left, the Devil had already grown in power, and ascended to another form. Jennifer and her friends got away, but it was soon enough that the Changeling Unit caught up with her, and showed her the worst sight of her life. They wiped out her entire family, and showed her the bodies. It was the worst experience ever, that caused Jennifer to become near-catatonic. Having to be carted around by her friends, up until the climatic moment on the rooftop where the Devil had them cornered. Jennifer was ultimately grabbed by tentacles, and after a heartfelt goodbye, Jennifer was pulled into the depths after giving up. Where all of her friends presumed she died alongside the rest of the Caspins. ... However, Jennifer managed to survive. She was pinned underneath a rock, and her survival instinct kicked in, and she had to cut her foot off to survive. Jennifer went back towards NEST Headquarters wondering the empty streets of Verthaven. Another wave came through, and Jennifer was washed away until the end of the disaster.

It was a few days of drifting in flooded streets before Jennifer was finally found by people searching for survivors (or bodies). She was pulled to shore, and was given medical attention. It was quickly realized that she was a metahuman, and was almost given over to NEST. However, Jennifer choose to turn over a new leaf, become a new person, she quickly escaped (Amazing, given that she had only one foot). If what Luis said was correct, she was going to be around for a very, very, long time. She might as well abandon her emotional connections to other people, and dedicate this time to improving herself. Jennifer Caspin was dead, but a new person took her place: Missy Baroness. This woman was scorned by the Changeling Unit, and lived by her own rules. She did everything she could to distance herself from Jennifer (up to dying her own hair). She set out to take her own piece of this world. During her time, she had quite the adventure... Which will be revealed in IC. What you need to know is that she went toe to toe with a few villains, and somehow got her power altered. At some point, Missy met a woman called Megan Jervious. An eccentric woman, that asked that Missy join her organization, along with a few other people. She was reluctant, but accepted the invitation. Together, they managed to launch an investigation which tracked what was left of the Hands of Science. Eventually ending up in Baybridge. At first, Missy didn't expect anything, but she found Old Ghosts in the form of the Mannequin, and friends that have long forgotten her. It awakened a long suppressed part of her, and eventually made Missy decide to return to being Jennifer Caspin. After reuniting with her friends during the Eco-Natura attack, Jennifer revealed who she was, and left Megan's group. From there... adjusting back into her old lifestyle was difficult. She managed to move in with Cindy, but she had received severe mental trauma, which Cindy managed to help with her via several different therapists. Throughout the months, it came to light that Jennifer was having a terrible time functioning in society. Given that she had lived through a tragedy that no human being should live through. However, she was able to score herself a job in Greencrest Heights at a cafe. She was doing her best, but it wasn't enough, apparently.

Relationships
Family:

Aiden Caspin - Father
A lawyer, and overall nice person, Aiden and Jennifer were fairly close to each other growing up. He helped her through many stages of her life, and she returned it with love and affection like no other. His death during a car accident affects Jennifer to this very day, as she sometimes wonder how it could have been if he was still alive.
Anabella Caspin - Mother
Another lawyer, except a far more crueler and domineering lawyer. She was one of the best lawyers in Verthaven, and was a fierce woman. She was, honestly, a control freak that only wanted perfection out of her many children. Trying to force them to become prodigies. Unfortunately, that caused her children to lash out against her, and nearly pushed Jennifer to the brink. It was only because of Aiden that she finally relented. However, after the death of Aiden, she fell into a deep, alcohol related depression and barely left the house for months. Was killed by Luis.
Justin Caspin - Younger Brother
The third oldest in the Caspin family, Justin was nothing more than a free-spirited young boy that loved to longboard. He and Jennifer got along pretty swimmingly, but Justin often played the role of annoying younger brother. Was killed by Luis.
Cody Caspin - Younger Brother
The youngest of the Caspins, Cody was a martial arts enthusiast. Cody was a lovable member of the Caspin family that was called a prodigy in karate. He earned his brown belt really fast, and was close to getting it. He was loved by all the Caspins. Was killed by Luis.
Kaitlyn Caspin - Younger Sister
The second to Jennifer, Kaitlyn and Jennifer didn't see eye to eye for a number of reasons. They were stated to be the exact opposites of each other, since Jennifer was introverted, while Kaitlyn was outgoing. They often got into arguments whenever Kaitlyn stepped out of line - but Jennifer loved her. They met while on the school's basketball team, after some girls were picking on Meifeng for her horrible grasp of English. From there, Meifeng and Jennifer hit it off. Which was an odd friendship, since they were two completely different people, but they managed to make it work. Meifeng was the person who gave so much to Jennifer, and showed her a side that she never thought she'd see. However, she always thought that Meifeng was too good for her, and those sentiments only intensified during the Verthaven disaster. After her presumed death, the relationship came to a close there - however, Meifeng was overjoyed knowing that Jennifer was still alive. The only problem is that Jennifer and Meifeng are two very different people now, that are having trouble messing well. They met during the worst disaster of all time, and didn't have a lot of time to bond. From what conversations they did have, Jennifer thought highly of Haruka as a friend. He was the person there for her when she had an explosive device implanted in her. She feels like she dragged him through an unnecessary hell back then. They've gotten off to a rough reunion, with Jennifer being close to killing him, and Jen wishes to make up for the time that she missed. But, she honestly thinks that she missed that opportunity. Since Haruka and Shizuka were oddly close, they had no choice but to encounter each other. That said, Jennifer does owe him a bit due to his assistance. However, after her return, there is an obvious resentment on Shizuka's part. Most likely due to Jennifer coming close to killing Haruka.

| Quentin Taylor |
| Neutral | Respected Friend | "I still owe Quentin so much." |
Quentin and Jennifer first met in the Hands of Science base, and he helped her escape the base. However, their interactions were minimal from there on. Regardless of that, Jennifer respected him. He welcomed her back... she was going to make an effort to befriend him.

| Reed Taylor |
| Good | Friend and Savior | "I'm glad that Reed's alive... but he looks like he hasn't aged a day." |
Jennifer is closer to Reed than she is with Quentin, arguably. She encountered the man while running from her life during the first hour of the Verthaven disaster. After she was brought to safety, they haven't interacted much. However, she was the first of the Taylors she encountered in Baybridge. Due to his job in DOVE, they have been in very close contact.

| Lihua Zhao |
| Neutral | Meifeng's Mom | "It's funny... she's like a whole new person...." |
Several years back, Jennifer was rather afraid of the Zhao Matriarch for a number of reasons. The first being the cold, authoritative aura she gives off, and the fact that it always seemed like she never liked Jennifer. She never thought highly of the woman for a number of reasons. However, after her return, their interactions have been sparse, but she notices that Lihua is a much kinder, gentler human being.

Abilities
Power Class:
Super-System: Biological
Power: Super-Regenerative System.
The night that Jennifer saved Penny, and nearly got killed, allowed her to walk away with a power that people would die for. A very powerful healing factor. It's like if Wolverine's healing was a bit more realistic. Any wound she receives will be rapidly repaired in no time, with any missing biological tissue being quickly replaced. It all depends, really. Something like a leg being broken would heal in an hour. A knife wound would be gone in around ten or so minutes. Minor wounds like scrapes, and first degree burns, would instantly heal. So, even the deadliest wound would be healed in less than half-an-hour. This healing factor has greatly halted her aging process - which is why she still looks seventeen. Jenny has a degree of control over her regeneration. The full extent of that control is merely prioritizing one wound over the others. It's also possible for Jen to regrow a limb - it'd take a few weeks to regenerate something like an arm. It'd take about a day or two to regenerate a finger. Forgetting ability to regrow limbs, Jen can actually reattach limbs. This also comes with a considerable boost to her immune system, and makes her all but immune to diseases, and any of the sort. Apart of this, Jen's body filters out fatigue toxins incredibly fast. It'll take a lot for her to get tired, and she'll be able to recover from fatigue quicker, too. A side-ability that Jen has is that her body contains a network of backup organs - and her primary organs are very adaptive. Which means if one of her main organs fail, another organ will activate to take it's place while it undergoes repairs. Which means she has little weak spots on her body. This all comes with an inhuman survivability. She'd get back up from wounds that'd utterly devastate other people as if it was cosmetic. She's the cockroach after all. All in all, Jenny finds it very hard to actually die.
Bone-Manipulation.
When Jenny's ability was upgraded, she gained the ability to manipulate her own skeleton. Jenny can manipulate her own bone in several different fashions. She can grow and shape bone, which gives her a few applications. This allows her to do quite a few things. The most obvious application would be bursting bones out of her skin to create weapons. The less obvious use would be altering her skeleton. Jenny can quickly repair broken bones by manually repairing them. Jenny can manipulate her own bones, and the bones of others. In order to manipulate the bones of other she has to attach her prehensile spine to exposed bone to control them. She can do some rather vicious things to people using that method.
Flesh-Manipulation.
Jenny can control her own soft-tissue, however she can better control the outer layers of flesh (Skin is what she's best at manipulating) better than deep down flesh. She can do the same things that she can do with her bone manipulation here, except with a little more variety. She can shape, and grow her skin, in addition to being able to alter texture, color, smoothness, sensitivity, etc. One trick she learned how to do is give herself "enhanced touch". An exceptionally good sense of touch. This gives her a seismic sense. Giving her the ability to sense vibrations through solids and liquids. At the cost of being more pain receptive.
Limits:
Jenny's regenerative factor doesn't render her immortal. Just harder to kill. It's pretty obvious: Jen can't heal from what would kill her instantly. A solid gunshot to the head, getting crushed/beheaded/disintegrated, etc. Getting impaled/stabbed will impair her healing until the object is removed. Hell, there's a chance that she might heal over it. Healing brain-damage is pretty tricky. She can't exactly heal from damage to the brain good as she could any other part. She'd pretty much pass out from a solid hit to the head, just like anyone else. Jenny cannot grow a large amount of bone from her body. She isn't able to grow a cocoon of bone, but she can violently burst spikes out of her skeleton. The most she can do is create two six foot long bone blades. Altering her flesh only has a few applications, since she can't alter her properties, only the flesh itself. It only has personal/stealth applications as it has no offensive usage.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
The process of healing is very painful. With her nerves being much more sensitive than before. Whenever she heals, she still feels a lot of pain in return. The kind of pain that would be debilitating, and paralyze her until it's all gone. After regenerating plenty of wounds, Jen would have to stop in order to take some time to rest. Now, in order to accomplish these feats, Jen needs to get the biological materials from somewhere. Either from the food she eats, or... her body can start cannibalizing biological materials. Such as, her muscles, or her organs. Which she won't be able to get back until she gets other materials to replace them. The backup organs are inferior to her primary organs in a few ways. They simply aren't as strong as her main organs, and they only have enough strength to keep her alive, really. If she falls back onto her backup organs, then she'll be much weaker until her actual organs are repaired. She also has to eat a lot more in order to keep these organs from simply falling apart. Making bones burst through her skin is quite painful, and causes internal wounds as well. She must be careful not to damage anything important when she makes alters her skeleton. Especially since she may damage one of her backup organs. Having double jointed limbs is not the best. Because they are a weakness, because a solid blow can break them, or the same could occur if she lands on them the wrong way. Regeneration or not, she won't be using that limb for a little while. Altering her flesh too much wears down it's properties, and makes it much more susceptible to all forms of damage. It's make her skin like paper. Increasing her skin's sensitivity can be painful, even a needle dropping on her could be hell.
Other:

Jennifer is currently employed at the Thanks a Latte Coffee Bar in Greencrest Heights as a barista. It's a family owned coffee shop that offers an in-house jazz band to provide atmosphere.
