[INDENT]Malik is a spry, adventurous young man. He's physically fit, and has just has the look of someone who's been to a lot of different places. Not only is Malik obviously a foreigner, anyone can tell from his thick French Accent. Malik has a kind, easygoing look on his face, as he goes about his life. Like he's constantly having a good time. However, his body movements are always quick, and erratic, almost like he can't hold still, and has to constantly be on the move. Which doesn't imply he has a disorder. Almost like he's excited. Almost child-like. 

Now, Malik is African - not African-American because he isn't an American citizen - but he's a man who was born in Africa with several different races flowing through his blood. He's Nigerian, Kenyan, Sudanese, and Egyptian - his father was a pureblooded Nigerian, while his mother brought the other races. So, Malik look a bit more Nigerian than the other nationalities, but they do alter his facial features a bit. He has rather squared facial features, consistent with Africans. Starting off, he has that African skullshape, and thick bones. He has a square-shaped face/head, that is a generally blocky. He has a strong jaw, and a rather blocky chin that almost looks disproportionate to his thick lips. Speaking of his lips, like other African people, he's got some pretty thick lips. However, his jaw blends into the rest of his face pretty well, actually. His jaw ends, where his medium-sized ears end. Which have a crescent shape. Malik's eyes have a roundish-almond shape, and are quite large and pronounced. Especially with his dark brown eyes. Malik's nose is droopy in shape, and is medium sized. Finally, Malik has an African accent whenever he speaks. 

Malik's body shape is generally a bit stand out. Due to all the workout and exercise he gets, he's a fair bit muscular. He's got that runner's build from all the parkour he does, mostly it's in his legs because you get to see how built they are. He's still pretty skinny, I'd say he's lithe, and waif. Though, he's got a rather standout body shape. He's six-two feet tall, and that makes him a little easier to see in a crowd. He has a wide chest, and wide shoulders, along with some rather thick legs. Though, he still has a good build from all the exercising he does, you can see the abs growing on his torso area. He doesn't appear to have too much body-fat, and what little does pads his body.

Like it's been stated before, Malik is African. His dark-brown skintone is certainly a dead give away. He's pretty dark due to his Sudanese heritage, the fact that he spends a lot of time in the sun also helps. His skin... has a few scars on it. During his parkour training, he got injured a lot. He has a scar on his face, on his chin, from a time he hilarious fell face first on the ground and had to get surgery to fix his jaw. The surgical scar remains... and so does the [i]shame.[/i] He also has a scar on his leg from the time he was running from a dog, and scraped his leg on the top of the fence he was escaping on. And the list of retarded injuries go on and on.

Finally, Malik's hair is a black color, and has an afro texture. He keeps it in a stylish low-mohawk fade. The hair on the sides is heavily faded.[/INDENT]

[INDENT]Malik dresses fancily. Due to being a rich boy, he's got a lot of access to different kinds of clothes. When he wants to make an impression, and [i]wow[/i] people, he comes in wearing an expensive suit. He loves a nice looking suit... but, he rarely wears them. Other times, he just dresses much more casually. He has a hip-hop inspired style, where he wears shirts with rap logos, and other urban details on it. Depending on whether or not he wants to stand out dictates his outfit. He'll go from something simple, to something much more fancy. However, if he wants to do parkour, he tends to dress loosely, and give himself lots of freedom of movement.[/INDENT]

[INDENT]A kind and easygoing kind of guy.

Malik's a generally kind, and easy going kind of person. One who isn't afraid of interacting with other people, and doesn't have any prejudice. Which makes it easy for Malik to make friends with people. He's very loud, and stand out, and tends to attract attention to himself. Through his exaggerated and energetic body movements, and his loud speech. He has a smile on his face most of the time. Whenever he interacts with people, he definitely is laid back, and easy going. He often jokes, and tells stories of his many adventures throughout the world (Whether or not they're true is up to debate). He isn't the kind of person who gets worked up, or angry easily. He takes life through the easy route. Oddly enough, he keeps well composed at all times. He seemingly has a way with people, and tends to be quite charming. He just likes befriending people.

Though, he comes off as a bit goofy sometimes, bumbling at worst. Making careless mistakes, and often making a fool of himself at the worst possible moments. Along with his attitude, he tends to be ignored by other, more serious-minded, people as nothing more than background noise. That annoys him a bit, but it certainly doesn't cause. What doesn't help this goofy character trait is that he tends to say things that can be misinterpreted, and that causes him problems when more aggressive people confront him. When he has the best interests at heart.

When dealing with confrontation, the very [i]first[/i] thing that Malik does is talk his way out of things. He doesn't like violence, or fighting people. Worst comes to worse, then Malik will just cut tail and run for it. Good luck catching him. Because, while he isn't too good at fighting, he's fast as hell. He prefers peace, but if he's left with little choice, then Malik will fight. He doesn't have any real fighting experience, other than a few confrontations he got into with other Metahumans. Malik doesn't like to fight women even less, but if he's forced to do it, then he has no choice but to.

Malik has a pretty solid moral compass. He has a good heart, and won't harm anyone innocent. Because his goal in life isn't to oppress, it's to simply enjoy it. That's why he'll always lend a helping hand to someone who needs it. Especially if it's a damsel in distress. That isn't to say he goes out of his way to look for people, but if he ever comes across someone in his travels that needs it, he'll be there. Though, he'll come at it in a less roundabout way.

Speaking of romance and sexuality, Malik is heterosexual, but he isn't particularly interested in sex. He can be swayed if he's attracted to someone enough, but he is more interested in romance than having sex with someone. Since Malik was always a guy that was about interpersonal connections, and friendship, than boning every female in sight. He is quite flirty, however, if he sees a girl that adheres to his brand of tastes. Though, he isn't persistence, or weird about it. If he's turned down, then, hell, he isn't going to lose his mind and murder someone. He'll take a kind lady's friendship if they'll give it to him, and keep it completely platonic. 

If it comes down to it, Malik is incredibly determined once he's set on a goal, and won't give up on it even if people constantly shoot him down. In fact, that [i]motivates him[/i]. This shows in his goal to find his missing friend, and how he dropped everything he was doing to get up and go find her. He'll keep looking for his goals, even if it seems absolutely hopeless. Yeah, he's that kind of guy.

Though, certain acts can certainly bring out the rage in Malik. A hotblooded passion that'll make him lose that nice guy attitude, and replace it with a fierce, vengeful side. However, while he's quite vengeful, he won't be ruthless.

[INDENT]Malik is a tourist at heart, and has a great love and appreciation for the world, and the many things within the world. He's been from one part of the world, to another. He's been in the Netherlands, to Germany, to Japan, to Dubai. He also has a lot of trinkets. He aspires to continue traveling the world after he's done with his personal mission to find his friend. Malik also has an affinity for technology, and social media. He has like a social media account on every single form (Instragram being his favorite). He fills these social media accounts with pictures from his adventures. He also has a few games on his phone - nothing like a system, since he's always on the move.[/INDENT]

[INDENT]The one thing that Malik uses to wow people is his impressive parkour skills. Starting from when he was sixteen, Malik trained by some of the best in parkour, and that shows whenever he pulls off jaw dropping stunts. He has an impressive acrobatic array of tricks, and stunts that makes it trivial for him to climb up objects, and do flips. Though, in case he needs it, he'll only be using the practical stunts. Because of this, Malik is pretty quick on his feet, and can certainly haul ass if he needs it. The other major skill that Malik has is that he's multilingual. Because he's been traveling all over the world, it's only natural that he picks up a few languages. First, he's pretty damn good at speaking English because it's a major language spoken in Nigeria. He can also speak Arabic because of his times in Dubai. The other language he's really good at is French, because he's spent a [i]lot[/i] of time there. He can also speak a little bit of Japanese, German, Swahili, Portuguese, and Spanish - but those are limited to phrases because his knowledge in those languages are awful.[/INDENT]

[INDENT]Malik's main goal in Baybridge is find a close and personal friend of his that has gone missing within Baybridge. Eventually, he'll come to blows with the mysterious Founding Family, and join the battle against them. His other objective is to locate a Metahuman with a powerful enough healing ability to heal his father back to full health. No matter the cost.[/INDENT]

[INDENT][hider=The Tourist]Malik was born very well off. He's the first son of a profitable Nigerian businessman, who has a load of money at his disposal, and a lot of influence in Africa and beyond. Malik himself lived in a mansion, and went to school where he had everything handed to him at a young age. However, the boy and his family traveled around a lot due to his father's business. Mostly spending a lot of time in Dubai, and Nairobi. 

However, once Malik was old enough, he was sent away to an expensive boarding school in Paris, France. The sudden transition wasn't the best, but he made the best of it. Malik was already a kind, fun loving boy, and that was enough to make him friends with the French kids that weren't racist. However, it wasn't long before Malik got bored of just sitting around, playing games, and studying. He wanted to do something cool. He could pick up sports, since Malik was a bit tall... but the only sport that he had in mind was parkour.

Just to satisfy his sun, his father got Malik the best parkour training you can get in Paris. From the start, Malik didn't exactly do too well, since he was incredibly clumsy while doing it, and got ridiculed by his fellow trainees (and his teacher). This ridicule only motivated Malik to succeed further. Even though he failed a lot more, it wasn't long before Malik started getting good. And when he got good, oh boy, he got [i]good[/i]. Almost called one of the best among his class. He was on the road to becoming a parkour master.

At his school, he bonded with a girl that he knew named Marelle Marrou. She was a French/African mixed girl that he got along with pretty well. Malik and her became fairly close friends throughout the years - despite the fact that their relationship never became romantic, or sexual. Only platonic. Malik was barely eighteen when he graduated from school, and prepared to go on a world tour. While Marelle Marrou joined the French Directorate-General For Meta-Human Security. Malik and Marelle kept in close contact as he went all over the world. Malik spent a few years on this journey, and traveled from Japan to Oaxaca.

Tragedy struck Malik's family... his precious father was injured by a Metahuman who was seeking to kidnap him for his wealth. His father was saved from the kidnapping from his bodyguards... but was horribly injured in the process. To the point where he was declared comatose, and braindead. His family had the money to keep him on life support - but should they was the question. However, during one passionate conversation in his room, Malik declared that he was going find help for his father, and look for someone to help.

The first thing that came to mind was a Metahuman with a strong enough healing ability.

Malik went from country to country, searching for a Metahuman that would be strong enough to heal his father's injuries... but, with the persecution against Metahumans, that was hard. The few he could find weren't strong enough to heal his father. It's been years since he started his journey, and wasn't any closer.

However, Malik was brought to America because a friend of his went missing, that friend was Marelle Marrou... who was in America on a foreign exchange program between the DGMHS, and RAVEN. She sent him a bizarre message that implied something about a "Founding Family," and told him that she wasn't going to see him for awhile, and not to look for her. Well, that just motivated Malik to go straight to America to go find her.

Little did he know, things are going to get [i]very[/i] complicated.

Imamu Jakane - Father
[indent]One of the wealthiest men in Nigeria and beyond, merely because he forged an empire with his own two hands through stock exchange, and owning an illustrious mining company - along with dipping his fingers in trade and electronic development. There are few people in Africa who haven't heard of the man due to all the things he has done for Africa. However, he was the target of a group of Metahuman thieves in Africa who attempted to force him to hand over his fortune by force. Imamu came out of resulting confrontation so horribly injured that he was practically braindead. They were ready to pull the plug on him when Malik came out and declared that he would find someone capable of healing him and went on a worldwide quest.[/INDENT]

Boipelo Jakane - Mother
[indent]Imamu's trophy wife. A waitress that Imamu became absolutely smitten with. It was probably sheer impulse driving his actions, but he managed to acquire the woman's feelings, and married her. She gave birth to all of the Jakane siblings, with Malik being her first. The woman enjoys her new life that came straight out of a fairy tale - however, she fell into a great depression when her husband was injured. The grief has awakened the ability to turn invisible... which is a secret of the Jakane family. While she does believe there is a Metahuman out there that can heal her husband, she is going to be practical.[/INDENT]

Jaheem Jakane - Brother
[indent]The second to come in the Jakane lineage, Jaheem and Malik have shared a rivalry growing up. With Malik being the older and more spry of the two, it made Jaheem bitter as the two grew up. He strove to exceed his older brother no matter the cost, while Malik only wanted his love. Jaheem tried to beat Malik at sports, and eventually their father picked up on this growing rivalry, and sent the two boys to schools in different countries - Malik in France, Jaheem in Japan. The two haven't interacted much outside of a few phone calls, but Malik heard that he's been trying to pick up Parkour. He came back to Nigeria to tend to his father.[/INDENT]

Faraji Jakane - Brother
[indent]The third in the Jakane family, easily the most relaxed of the two. He was a lazy soul that only wanted to indulge in his wealth... eventually growing overweight. His family eventually attempted to kick this lazy boy into shape by giving him a hobby, and that became capoeira. He lost his weight with ease, and became one of the greatest dancers. Faraji largely stayed out of the Jakane family's affairs and did his own thing.[/INDENT]

Jojo Jakane - Brother
[indent]The youngest of the Jakanes along with his twin sister Ekua. Jojo is the "cute" one, being fourteen years old. The boy has his own modern day ambitions, and that's to forge his own wealth and cut a piece of the world. Stepping out of his father's shadows... which the Jakane family only entertains not to crush the kid's dreams. However, Jojo developed a superpower along with his sister. The two have cerebral abilities that are connected with each other. Jojo has telekinesis that is painfully weak... until he gets close to his sister, then it becomes absolutely devastating.[/INDENT]

Ekua Jakane - Sister
[indent]Twin of Jojo, the two were inseparable from birth until they had grew up - and thusly grew apart from each other. Ekua dreams of going to America and becoming a world renown actress along the likes of her idols - or at least a singer. Ekua practices both her acting and singing abilities until they become good enough for someone to pick her up. However, Ekua, like her twin, has developed a cerebral ability that depends on proximity to her twin. She has developed telepathy that allows her to pierce minds and dig information, when she's near her twin, she can alter memories, and implant thoughts.[/INDENT]

[indent] As a result of being a big mouth, Malik met Rhea in a coffee shop in Greencrest Heights. The two shared a coffee after chatting about what happened in the fair. Malik, out of apathy, simply told her some information about the Founding Family, and then [i]begged[/i] her not to get involved. And the next thing he knows, she got involved! Using his storm abilities, he managed to bring both of them free, and escape from the Family's base. From there, the two of them began to work together to find out what happened to Malik's friend Marcelle, and unravel the mystery of the Founding Family. [/indent]

[INDENT]Malik is the [i]storm[/i]. He has the ability to shed his human form, and become living storm cloud. This cloud form takes the appearance of, well, a cloud that's shaped like Malik. It's white, and constantly flowing, and whenever Malik moves, the storm follows behind him in a trail that will disappear in a few seconds. Becoming a cloud gives Malik a few abilities that would be natural, such as changing his shape, and flight. Oddly enough, he is still tangible. He can still be touched, and touch other objects. However, that isn't the ability of subject. Since Malik is a [i]storm[/i] cloud, he can essentially summon any  phenomena from his body. Rain/snow, wind, hail, lightning, snow, fog, and a subconscious control over temperatures. Due to this ability, it's pretty much weather generation. This gives him a lot of abilities, offensively, and defensively. He can shoot rain from his body to extinguish a fire, summon a mighty wind from his body to knock over a foe, or shoot a mighty bolt of lightning from his hands. This form has a lot of capabilities, and whatnot due to the fluidness of being a storm elemental. 

While in his human form, he also has a weaker form of weather manipulation. He can summon a small cloud in his area that he can control, and summon mini weather effects from. Such as rain, or electricity. He likes to have fun with this ability.[/INDENT]


[color=Blueviolet][b]Limits:[/b][/color]
[INDENT]First, he doesn't [i]exactly[/i] have control over weather effects like you'd expect. He can only summon them in various intensities, but not control them like an elemental type. Once it's out, he can't do anything with it - which means he can easily be overpowered by an elemental type dedicated in that element. His abilities also have a relatively short range, he can't throw weather effects a million feet away, but the most he can accomplish would be fifteen feet. He also has a hard time controlling his abilities, mostly directing them where he wants to go. For example, he can't shoot lightning at someone, but there's little guarantee he'll hit them directly. His power is much like blanketing an area with a weather effect, than one solid target. Also, he needs to be in his storm form to access the full capabilities of his power.[/INDENT]

[color=Blueviolet][b]Weaknesses/Drawbacks:[/b] [/color]
[INDENT]Whenever Malik goes into his storm form, he has a glowing hole in his chest that emanates a light like the eye of a storm. This "eye of the storm" serves as Malik's weakpoint. If he is struck in this area, then he will immediately be forced back into his human form, and will be rattled for a little bit. Once he shifts into storm form, his vision will also fade a little bit, and it'll be very hard for Malik to see objects from far away because his eyes will be covered in a "fog." Summoning weather effects also has detrimental effects on his body. Summoning water cools down his body, shooting lightning blinds him for a few seconds, and blows out his hearing for a few seconds, and wind makes it harder for Malik to breath.[/INDENT]
