"Don't you worry." He gives her a confident thumbs up. "The only person who remembers you making a fool out of yourself is you, cuz." He thinks a moment on the nickname. "Can I call you cuz? I guess if we are cousins in some manner it's an appropriate title." Before she answers he bangs on the door of the truck. "You kids okay in there? I know this is a bit scary but...
